The invitation
The morning sun streamed through the wide glass windows of the grand dining hall, casting a golden hue over the elegantly set breakfast table.
The rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee mixed with the scent of warm toast and eggs as the maids moved efficiently, setting the final touches.
Jennie sat gracefully, sipping her tea while waiting for Taehyung to join her.
Across from her, Jungkook stood near the side, dressed neatly in his attire, he sometimes wear maid uniform and some times casual.
Hands clasped in front of him in a poised manner. Even though he was their maid, the Kim family had never truly treated him as one.
From the moment he had arrived at the Kim mansion at the age of 10, he had been more than just a servant’s son.
Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin had taken him in under their care, ensuring he was well-fed, educated, and even allowing him to be close with Taehyung.
They never looked down on him, instead treating him as part of their family.

As Taehyung finally entered, fixing the cuffs of his expensive dress shirt, Jennie smiled warmly at him.

Jungkook silently poured it for him, their fingers barely grazing against each other in a fleeting touch.
Jennie stirred her tea thoughtfully before looking at her husband.

Taehyung, it's your parents marriage anniversary today.

Your parents have invited us to their anniversary party tonight.

They want us there early, so you’ll need to return from the office before evening
