The city of Seoul was alive with flashing lights and deafening music. Inside an exclusive high-end nightclub, people from all walks of life indulged in the night’s pleasures. Youth swayed on the dance floor, laughter and music blending into a chaotic symphony. The air was thick with the scent of expensive perfumes and alcohol. Bartenders worked their magic, crafting colorful cocktails, while bouncers stood at the ready, their sharp eyes scanning for trouble.

In stark contrast to the vibrant scene downstairs, the VIP section on the first floor exuded a different kind of energy. Behind the thick, soundproof doors of a luxurious private lounge, the atmosphere was cold and tense.

At the end of the corridor, inside the largest VIP room, a man in his mid-forties sat on an expensive leather couch, exuding authority. His perfectly tailored three-piece suit and the cigar between his fingers hinted at his wealth and status. Beautiful young men and women danced seductively in the center of the room, but the guests barely spared them a glance. Their focus remained on the man in the main seat—Chairman Kang Hyun-Shik, one of the most feared figures in the business world.

A man in his early forties, Kang’s secretary, approached him with a respectful bow, holding out a sleek tablet. “Chairman Kang, as you requested, I’ve gathered all the information on the Kim siblings. By tomorrow, the job will be done.”

Kang took the tablet, his expression unreadable as he scanned the contents. A small smirk tugged at his lips.

A bald, heavy-set man slammed his glass onto the table. “If we don’t handle him soon, he’ll destroy years of our efforts. The Kim family may have fallen after his parents’ death, but that man is dangerously smart. He’s been making a comeback. If he stabilizes, we’re done for.”

Kang exhaled a ring of smoke, eyes gleaming with amusement. “Calm down, gentlemen. By tomorrow, Kim Taehyung will no longer be a threat.”

His secretary stepped forward again. “The plan is already in motion, sir. By morning, their downfall will be complete.”

Kang took another sip of his whiskey before setting the glass down with a satisfied smirk. “Good. Let’s see how long a man can stand tall when the only thing holding him up is taken away.”

Laughter filled the room as glasses clinked together in celebration, unaware that fate had other plans for Kim Taehyung.
