Taehyung woke up feeling the sun rays on his face, He sits up and see the other side of bed is empty.
He gets up, fixes his robe and walks out in search of Jungkook. He walks to the royal garden and sees Jungkook by the pond, playing with pebbles while a bunch of ladies stood aside him, laugh and whisper.
"Does he even knows he's married now?"
"I wonder how did he spend his wedding night."
"Playing with toys with his wife!"
They laugh while Jungkook seems to pay no attention at them. But taehyung couldn't stand it. He walks to Jungkook, ignoring the ladies.
Taehyung
Prince. What are you doing here? *gently stroke his hair*
Jungkook
*looked up at him and smiled* I was playing. *showed him the pebbles*
Taehyung
I see. *smiled gently at him*
"Greetings, Prince Jungkook's Consort."
Taehyung turn his head to see the lady who greeted him. She smiled at taehyung, Pouring false sweetness in her words.
Taehyung looked at her. The ladies had to agree that taehyung is a beauty. But such pity, now he isn't a princess, He's just a foolish Prince's Consort.
Lady Jisso (Jeon Hyun-Woo's Consort)

Taehyung looked at her with a frown. Even though, he is a Consort, he is still a princess and taking his name with such informality felt as he was insulted. Even consort's are not addressed with their names until a higher authority like the empress Dowager/empress or the emperor. They are addressed as Lady.
Lady Jisso, smirked a little. She knew was she did. For her, and the whole nation, Taehyung's now just the Foolish prince's consort. The incapable Prince for whom none felt respect. A subject of mockery, who wasn't accepted in his own family. Then how could they accept his wife?
Taehyung
Lady Jisso, Manner and etiquette are learned not taught.
Taken back by taehyung's bold yet subtle remark, Lady Jisso clench her fist. How could a fool's wife talk back to her! She's the soon to be empress, she thought.
Jeon Hyun-Woo's position in the court is well dignified. He has mastered political matters with military and civilians. He was the closest to ascent the throne, but his brothers are no less.

One the lady mumbled loud enough for everyone to hear. They are giggled. Taehyung stood there, clenching his fist. He was in no position to say anything back.

Jungkook
Okay, Wife. *nodded and stood up with pebbles in his hands*
Taehyung held Jungkook's hand and left from there while the ladies laugh. So loud, that taehyung could hear them laughing. Taehyung felt tearful, His husband had to face this mockery every day. But he would make sure, that he protects his husband.
Jungkook
Don't you like the pretty ladies?
Jungkook said and Taehyung stopped. They were standing in Jungkook's bare manor. Taehyung turned and looked at Jungkook who looked at him with his doe eyes.
Taehyung
the word pretty isn't for them, Prince
Taehyung
They may be pretty on the outside but on the inside, they are rotten.
Taehyung
Do not let them close to you, not even stand with you.
Jungkook
I never liked them! *scrunch his nose*
Taehyung
*chuckled* You're adorable, My Prince.
Taehyung smiled at Jungkook who seem to look at him with gentle eyes. Taehyung leads Jungkook to their room, he helped Jungkook get into the finest robes and dress himself up. Taehyung noticed that Jungkook only had few guards and few maids serving him. Nobody wanted to serve the idiot prince. Even the mere maids/guards ignored to acknowledge him.

Can I take my toys to play with?

Taehyung picked the wooden horses, and both of the walked to the quarters where the Kim's stayed. As they walked through the corridors, Taehyung hears the whispers. He saw how the people bow but with disbelief in their eyes. Nobody could agree on the fact, that a princess like taehyung ruined his life by marrying a prince like Jungkook.
Taehyung and Jungkook entered the quaters, and the chamber, which should be filled with talks was silent. Taehyung saw his family, siting melancholy.
Taehyung
Why isn't no one talking?
Taehyung said getting the attention from his family. He smiled as they looked at him, Seeing the smile, Taehyung's mother broke down into tears.

Taehyung was shocked. He rush towards his mother, tried to calm him down. He didn't understand why his mother was crying but only if he knew, they know about the idiot prince.

Taehyung sat down and poured some tea for himself. He called Jungkook to sit by his side. Jungkook sat by his side with a big smile and greeted the others.

Greetings, Wife's family.
Hearing Jungkook, Taehyung's mother cried more. But Taehyung told Jungkook to play with his toys. Taehyung looked at his family who looked as if they were mourning.
