Wife of the Foolish Prince Bride

With that, both the families decided on a wedding date which was on the end of the next month. The wedding preparations started, where taehyung was seemingly happy for his marriage, Jungkook was constantly getting mocked that Taehyung will leave him in no less than a week.

Soon, it was wedding day.

Taehyung's family arrived on the wedding day making a grand address, showing off their wealth. The palace was decorated, and Taehyung's family was welcome with warmth.

The crowd gasped and whispered looked at them, Silk robes made from the finest silk, ornaments made from gemstones worth a fortune each, and beauty that runs in their genes.

Till now the crowd couldn't get a glimpse of Princess Taehyung. Yoongi, went towards one of the carriages and forward his hand. Holding his hand, Princess Taehyung comes out. Dressed in all red, covering his face. The wedding ritual that until the marriage on one could look at the bride's face until the husband uncovers the veil.

Seeing how beautifully taehyung was dressed up, the five brothers could envy their idiot brother.

Taehyung and Taehyung's family was taken to the royal courtyard, where Jungkook stood, dressed up handsomely, having a foolish smile on his face beside the royal priest.

Jungkook

*looked at his bride with curiosity, His doe eyes wasn't leaving taehyung*

Is that my bride? *whispers to the royal priest*

The royal priest nodded making the foolish prince jump and clap. The Kim's noticed it, but let it slide thinking that the prince is excited. Taehyung walked to Jungkook, guided by his father.

Jungkook nodded with a big smile on his face. The wedding rituals started, and now people only had eyes on them.

*clench his fist looking at Jungkook* 'instead of this moron, I should have been there!'

*noticed how Jungkook wasn't like the other prince, He was smiling like a little happy kid and being clumsy*

The wedding ended, and the couple took the god's blessing and then there parents. After the wedding, their was a royal feast. Taehyung didn't have any interest in attending, so he was guided to the foolish prince's manor.

He entered the cold manor, though, he didn't have much visibly due to the veil but the manor was bare. Likewise, he frowned, but let it go. Furthermore, he could hear the maids and guards whispering. He ignored them and went inside the room.

He sat on the bed in silence, waiting for his husband. Just then, he hears giggles. He looked towards the door, and heard more giggles.

Taehyung

'Is there a child?'

Taehyung smiled. He went towards the door and opened it. And There he saw, His husband, giggling. He couldn't understand why did his husband giggled like a child.

Jungkook

Hello, Bride.

Jungkook said with a huge smile on his face. Taehyung couldn't see his face clearly, but knew it was his husband. but he couldn't understand his husband's childish behavior.

Taehyung

'He's quite.. Youthful.'

Taehyung thought while the guards snicker at the idiot prince. Jungkook entered inside and sat on the floor with his toys. Taehyung closed the door and looked at him with confusion.

Taehyung

Your highness?.

Taehyung called out for him the first time. Jungkook looked at him and smiled.

Jungkook

Do you want to play with me?

Taehyung couldn't understand. He stood their, thinking what's wrong with the prince. Jungkook saw his bride just standing at one place, he stood up and went closer to him. He removed his veil, yanking it away and looked at the beauty, he got married to.

Taehyung

*looks at Jungkook*

You are pretty, Bride. *giggled* Want to play with me?

Jungkook forward his hand which held a wooden horse. Taehyung felt like he was getting tricked. He nodded as no and saw the prince, going towards his toys and playing with them, siting on the ground..Like a child.

Taehyung stood near the gate and heard the guards and maids from the outside, whispering and snickering.

"I wonder if this idiot even knows about marriage."

"pity to the Princess who married a mentally impaired prince."

"How long will their marriage stand? A day?"

And there was laughter. Taehyung stood their with a blank face. He walked towards Jungkook, and cared his head.

Taehyung

I accept my fate.

Taehyung smiled to himself while the prince was in his own world. Taehyung wasn't like other Ores, He didn't marry for power or wealth. He wanted a person who could love him and provide him with protection. But what's wrong with being a mentally impaired Prince?

The prince could also love him and protect him in his own ways. And It was him, who choose Jungkook. He won't back on his words, He accepts Jungkook as he is and would not back away from being Jungkook's wife.

Taehyung

Prince, Aren't you tired? Should we sleep?.

Jungkook nodded and stood up. Taehyung helped him get out of the heavy robe and helped him wear a light silk one. He also got out of his heavy robe, get rid of his ornaments, and wears a light silk robe.

Taehyung

*saw that Jungkook was staring at him with Doe eyes* Do you like me, Prince?

Jungkook

Yes, Bride! *smiled like a child*

Taehyung

*smiled* Call me Wife, Prince.

Jungkook

You look so pretty when you smile, Wife.

Taehyung chuckled at the innocent prince. Both of them lay on the bed, and slept from being tired.
