The Moon Curse
The scent of blood lingered in the cold night air.
Jungkook stood at the edge of the battlefield, his golden eyes glowing under the pale moonlight. His sword dripped with the blood of his enemies, staining the snow beneath him. The Lunar Wolves had won again.
But tonight, something was different.
The warriors of the Moonlit Rabbit Clan had fought fiercely, refusing to surrender. And now, kneeling before Jungkook, bound in chains, was their prince.
Taehyung.
His silver-white hair fell over his eyes, matted with dirt and blood. He was breathing heavily, his pale skin almost glowing in the moonlight. Even in captivity, there was something ethereal about him—delicate, yet unbroken.
Jungkook had seen countless prisoners before, but this one… this one made something stir inside him.
“Kill him,” one of the wolf warriors growled.
Jungkook tightened his grip on his sword. His instincts screamed at him to end it—this was his enemy, a creature of prey. But something held him back.
Taehyung raised his head, meeting Jungkook’s gaze with defiance. His lips curled into a soft, almost mocking smile. “What’s wrong, Wolf Prince? Afraid of a rabbit?”
A dangerous silence fell over the battlefield.
Jungkook sheathed his sword. “Take him to the palace.”
Gasps echoed among the wolves. No one dared to question their prince, but confusion was clear in their eyes.
Taehyung chuckled, his voice laced with amusement. “Keeping me as a pet?”
Jungkook stepped closer, his voice low and dangerous. “You should pray, little rabbit. Because once we reach the palace… you belong to me.”
Taehyung’s smile didn’t fade, but for the first time, his heart raced.
Because deep down, he knew—this was only the beginning.
The journey to the Lunar Wolf Kingdom was long, the night stretched endlessly before them. Taehyung sat in the royal carriage, his wrists bound with enchanted silver cuffs that drained his strength. The wolves did not trust him, and he did not blame them.
Outside, the howls of the pack echoed through the dark forests. The trees whispered like ghosts, the shadows stretched like claws. Everything about this land was unfamiliar, cold, and merciless—just like the man sitting across from him.
Jungkook.
The Wolf Prince sat in silence, his golden eyes fixed on Taehyung. His presence was overwhelming, filling the carriage like an unspoken storm. He did not speak, did not move, yet Taehyung could feel his power like fire licking at his skin.
Finally, Taehyung sighed and leaned back against the seat, stretching his legs slightly. “If you’re going to stare, at least say something. It’s rude to keep a guest waiting.”
Jungkook’s lips curled into a smirk. “You are not a guest, little rabbit.” His voice was deep, smooth, but laced with warning. “You are my prisoner.”
Taehyung tilted his head, unfazed. “And what do you plan to do with me, Wolf Prince?”
Jungkook leaned forward, his elbows resting on his knees. The carriage lantern cast flickering shadows across his sharp features, making him look even more dangerous. “You will find out soon enough.”
A shiver ran down Taehyung’s spine, but he refused to show fear. Instead, he smirked. “Are you sure you can keep me?” His voice was teasing, but his eyes held a quiet challenge. “Wolves are hunters, but rabbits are survivors.”
Jungkook chuckled darkly. “Survive all you want, but you are in my kingdom now. And here, you will play by my rules.”
Taehyung’s smirk didn’t fade, but deep inside, he knew—escape would not be easy...
