Mike's glare at him, your captor, your jailor and rise to your feet

Or what? You'll kill me? The big bad mobster
Elias
And what do you think your father would say if he saw you now?

Pathetic, moanin, whining over your own decisions?
Mike
You think this is easy for me? You think I wanted any of this? I did what I thought was right
Elias's eyes bore into my, unyielding and cold. I feel the walls closing in the hopelessness of my situation pressing down on me

And look where it got you. You're here at my mercy. Tell me, Mike was it worth it?
my mouth snap shut words failing at the shock of his question
The room seems to close in around me the walls pressing down as my anger boils over
Elias step to close I had to crane my neck up to look at him
There's something dark in his eyes. That temper again that cruelty

You'd have been better off if you would let me kill your disgusting heartless father
His words slice through the air, cold and heartless. Seething, white-hot anger pounds in my head like my own pulse

So what don't you do something about your situation hmm?

Because from where I'm standing you're a weak little boy

*that's it I'm going to tell him off*

Don't talk about me or my father that way. You think you can sit there and take the high ground you are the lowest of the low

if you knew the truth you would also know that I don't need to sink low to talk about your father

Elias takes a couple of steps toward me, gripping my chin between his thumb and finger and forcing me to meet his gaze
his voice is soft and dangerous as he speaks

Elias backs me up against the wall, trapping me between it and his body
His face only a breath away from my own

*I'm going to meet his eyes dead on*
I refuse to look away from him, holding my head high not showing any weaknesses
we stare at each other for long, heavy moments, neither of us willing to back down
Until finally, he pushes himself off the wall, putting distance between me

You'll be working off your father's debt by cataloging my books

It should be easy for you, considering your profession

I'd get some sleep if I were you. I'll expect you bright and early in the library
He turns and walks away from me, the door locking behind him with a decisive click
