Chap 4 : Celebration's Dinner -part 2

"So, what do we have for tonight?" Mr. Sam asks seeing all the reserved foods in the table.

"There's a lot of foods in here and look, there've a desserts too. And what is that thing?" Mrs. Sam says weirdly looks at our special menu for tonight's dinner.

Lily's laughs when she heard that words and Mr. Sam only can shakes his head.

"Its not that thing, sweetheart. It's a rice." says Mr. Sam. "But still, this is the first time. I've never seen people cook the rice and make it this way."

"Yes, it's a rice and that will be our special menu for tonight. I bought it from my motherland and we called it 'Nasi Lemak'. " Lily explains to both of the couple when they're clearly still have no idea about that kind of food.

"Nasi what?" asks the couple at the same time.

Lily laughs again. She think she knew why they're really compatible with each other. They're both always give a same reaction.

"Its Nasi Lemak. You can say 'Fat Rice' maybe? Haha I dont even know what people call it in english." Lily laughing while holds on to her stomach and shakes her head, feels funny and a little bit ridiculous when she call the food in english because it never have a English name since the beginning..

"Both of you,please have a try first and I'm pretty sure youre going to like it. After all, I dont know how to explains anymore to your guys." Lily puts one scoop of 'Nasi Lemak' in each of their plates and give it's to them.

Both of them looking at each other before have a little taste of it.

"Ohhh my god!!! This is so delicious. Its feel like fatty, but not too fatty and its feel like coconut paste?"Mrs. Sam says while enjoying her first rice.

"Haha... Im right...You guys going to like it. it's so delicious, right? It's not really a coconut paste but its have a coconut inside. I dont even know how to explains. You can google it if you want the receipt and I can even teach you how to make it." Lily's feels happy because both of them like it.

"Yes, it's really delicious. For the rest of my life, I've never eat rice before and this is the first time. And I dont know it's can be delicious like this." Mr. Sam agreed with her wife.

"You really need to teach me how to make it." Mrs. Sam says.

"Haha... I will." Lily's laughs and enjoying seeing both of them enjoys their first eating a rice.

"Hold up guys. I know you guys enjoy your first eating rice but I just hope you guys didnt forget that we still have a lot of food that we need to eat, right?" Lily says to both of them.

They're just grinning. Then move to the other foods and desserts. And when its come to one of the weird dessert that they've never seen before, they asks Lily again.

"Lily, what is the name of this dessert? It's so delicious, so sweet. Its feel like a little bit bitter when you only eat the white part only but then its feels delicious if you eat this with the black water sugar, or what so ever it is. But still, it's so delicious." Lily shakes her head hears from Mr. Sam.

"Yes, it's really delicious." Mrs. Sam agreed on it.

"We've called it 'Toufu Fa'. Its come from Chinese though. but we really love it, so there's a lot in our place. And it's good for skin though especially when you eat it every day. You can see from how beautiful Asian people? Their skin so smooth, am I right?"

"I see... So they've ate this to make their skin feel smoother and beautiful?" Mrs. Sam asks naively.

Lily and Mr. Sam laughs hearing her words.

"What? Am I wrong?" She asks weirdly when looks at our sudden's laughs.

"Hahaha... of course not. Asian people like to practices or nibbling traditional medicine or something like that as their daily supplies or something like that even though sometimes it's so bitter. But still not everyone does that. And I ain't says that we need to eat those things just to get a beauty skin and health body. After all, everyone have their own specialist. Everyone born to be a beauty no matter where they're from, what colour's their skin is or what size or religion they have, everyone is born to be a beautiful. This is our life. We paints it as we like and we're should to be grateful for what we have because not everyone get what we got today." says Lily deeply.

"Yeah, you're right. Not everyone are lucky enough." Mrs. Sam says. Mr. Sam only nods his head, agreed on it. Those words really hit them hard.

"Okay, let us stop talking about this things and continues enjoys our food, can we?" Lily says when she feels like the situation a little bit tenses.

"Haha yeah you're right." Mr. Sam says. "And Lily, could you please come close to us?" He says while wears a smiles full of meaning.

Lily feels weird and she felt the surge of anxiety and unease, suddenly. But still she stands up from her sit then move toward them.

"Bushhhhh!!!!"

Suddenly, a rains of white flours fall to her making her freeze a little. She really startle when both of them pours a white flour in her head while shouts "CONGRATULATIONS!!!"

"Ohh... myyy... you guys really done it this time." She takes the remains of white flours then throws it all of them back.

She really shocked at first but then, she joins them and all of them plays throwing and pouring a white flour at each other.

Time passing by but still, the night still warms by their laughter and jokes.

P.S : I like this kind of situation...where everything feels nice. I wish I could have one.🤧
