Wilson Mansion - Monitoring Room
The Wilson family is around the large monitors, watching the Live feed from Erik’s body camera. They see him carrying Luis in his arms, his protective stance evident, even in the blurry footage.
Edward (smirking): "That’s my son. Look at him, carrying his fiancé like a hero from a movie."
Carter (softly, with a fond smile): "He’s completely smitten. The way he’s looking at Luis... nothing in the world matters more to him right now."
Elle (teasing): "Nothing? Not even us, his own family? We’ve been replaced!"
Jack (laughing): "And you see how he’s holding Luis like he’s made of glass? If someone even breathes wrong near them, Erik might just explode."
James (grinning): "It’s like watching a live-action romance drama. Except with guns and danger."
Edward (with pride): "That’s love, boys. Real, unshakable love. Erik would walk through fire for Luis."
Carter (nodding): "And burn anyone who dares to stand in his way."
Jack (mocking dramatically): "Ah, to be loved like that. Where’s my epic romance?"
James (teasing): "Keep dreaming, Jack. Not everyone gets a love story like Erik and Luis."
The Lab’s Exit – Erik Standing Guard
Erik stands firm, Luis cradled in his arms, his eyes scanning their surroundings like a hawk. Zane and Zoey flank him, weapons ready, their expressions cold and lethal.
Suddenly, the air fills with the distant rumble of boots.
Zoey (alert): "We’ve got company. A lot of it."
Zane (loading his gun): "Army reinforcements. Looks like Kyle wasn’t working alone after all."
The first group of armed soldiers enters the corridor. A deafening gunshot rings out—Zane fires the first shot, hitting the lead soldier square in the chest.
Zane (grinning): "Showtime."
Zoey leaps into action, her movements swift and precise as she takes down two soldiers in rapid succession.
Erik (growling, shifting Luis in his arms): "Keep them away from us."
Zane (without looking back): "You focus on Luis. We’ll handle the welcoming committee."
Zoey (sarcastic): "You sure? Looks like Erik’s itching to join the fun."
Erik (deadly calm): "If anyone gets past you, they won’t live long enough to regret it."
The soldiers retaliate, bullets ricocheting off walls, but Zane and Zoey are relentless.
Zoey (while reloading): "Is it just me, or does Erik seem scarier than usual?"
Zane (laughing): "You would be too if someone touched your soulmate."
A grenade rolls into the hallway. Zane kicks it back with precision, sending it exploding in the soldiers’ ranks.
Erik (to Luis, whispering): "Hold on, love. Just a little longer. I’ll get you out of here."
Luis stirs faintly in his arms, his head resting against Erik’s chest.
Luis (weakly): "I’m... okay..."
