New enchant
The soft knock at the door repeated, pulling Sangeeta out of her thoughts. She adjusted the pleats of her saree, wiped the corner of her eyes discreetly, and walked toward the door. As she opened it, she was greeted by Sadhna Rai Singhania, the eldest daughter-in-law of the family, standing gracefully with a warm smile.
Sadhna exuded an aura of elegance and calmness. Her soft peach saree complemented her kind eyes, and the slight tilt of her head showed her usual affectionate demeanor. In her arms, she held her three-year-old daughter, Anvika, who clung to her mother shyly.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
Main disturb toh nahi kar rahi hoon, Sangeeta?
I hope I’m not disturbing you, Sangeeta?
Sangeeta shook her head immediately, stepping aside to let Sadhna in.

Nahi, bilkul nahi, bhabhi. Aaiye na.
No, not at all, Bhabhi. Please come in.
Sadhna walked inside, placing Anvika down gently. The little girl looked around curiously before running toward the plush cushions on the bed.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
Bas Anvika ko tumse milna tha...bol rahi thi choti chachi ke sath khelna hai...
Anvika just wanted to meet you... she was saying she wants to play with her little aunt...
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
*smilling*
Sangeeta forced a small smile, her nervousness evident. She hadn’t yet adapted to the warmth and familiarity that came so easily to the Singhania women.
𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐚 Rai Singhania[4t D.I.L]
Jarur...
Both of them started playing with anvika's Barbie set
Sadhna placed a gentle hand on Sangeeta’s shoulder, her expression turning serious yet comforting.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
Mujhe pata hai, Sangeeta. Tumhare liye sab kuch asaan nahi raha. Par ek baat yaad rakhna—yahaan kisi ne tumse kabhi kuch expect nahi kiya. Tumhare apne pace pe iss rishtey ko samajhne ka waqt lena zaruri hai.
I know, Sangeeta. It hasn’t been easy for you. But remember one thing—no one here expects anything from you. It’s important for you to take your time to understand this relationship at your own pace.
Her words struck a chord, and Sangeeta found herself relaxing slightly.
Sangeeta stopped playing and looks at sadhna
𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐚 Rai Singhania[4t D.I.L]
Par kabhi-kabhi lagta hai ki sab mujhe alag nazar se dekhte hain... jaise yeh shaadi ek samjhota hai
But sometimes I feel like everyone looks at me differently… as if this marriage is a compromise.
Sadhna’s smile softened, and she shook her head.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
Aur agar samjhota hai bhi toh kya hua? Kabhi-kabhi samjhote pyaar se zyada mazboot hote hain. Har rishtey ki ek shuruaat hoti hai, Sangeeta. Shayad tumhara aur Aakarsh ka rishtey ka yeh pehla kadam hai.
And even if it is a compromise, so what? Sometimes compromises are stronger than love. Every relationship has a beginning, Sangeeta. Maybe this is the first step for you and Aakarsh.
Sangeeta blinked, her lips parting slightly as she absorbed the words. Before she could respond, Anvika’s giggle broke the moment. She had climbed onto the bed and was playing with the cushions.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
Anvika, beta, gir jaogi. Shararti bachi!
Anvika, sweetheart, you’ll fall. Naughty girl!
She looked back at Sangeeta with a playful smile.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
Dekho, tumhare paas ek natkhat partner hamesha rahega. Anvika ko tumse milna kaafi pasand hai.
See, you’ll always have a mischievous partner. Anvika loves spending time with you.
Sangeeta chuckled lightly, the tension in the air easing slightly.
𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐚 Rai Singhania[4t D.I.L]
Mujhe bhi uska saath achha lagta hai. Kaafi pyaari hai.
I like her company too. She’s adorable.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
Bilkul Aapne papa par gayi hai
She have completely taken after her father.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
*chuckles*
Sadhna stood up, her voice softening again.
Sadhna Rai Singhania [1rst D.I.L]
Bas ek baat yaad rakhna, Sangeeta. Tum Singhania parivaar ka hissa ho. Kabhi akeli mat mehsoos karna. Agar kuch bhi ho, toh main aur Aakarsh hamesha tumhare saath hain.
Just remember one thing, Sangeeta. You’re a part of the Singhania family. Never feel alone. If anything happens, Aakarsh and I will always be there for you.
Her words brought a lump to Sangeeta’s throat, but she nodded, feeling a flicker of comfort she hadn’t expected.
