Jungkook’s jaw tightens. He slams his hand against the wall beside Taehyung’s head, making him flinch.

(his tone icy, his eyes boring into Taehyung’s)

Taehyung’s defiance falters as Jungkook’s words sink in.
He glances at Yeonjun, who looks terrified. Jungkook notices this and softens his tone slightly.

(lowering his voice)

Taehyung looks away, biting his lip. Jungkook releases him, stepping back but keeping his gaze fixed on him.

There won’t be a next time. (says firmly)

Try to leave again, and I won’t be so forgiving.
Taehyung doesn’t respond, his fists clenched at his sides.
Jungkook turns to Jimin, who is watching the scene with amusement.

Take Yeonjun to the dining room. He needs to eat. (to jimin)

(grinning, giving a mock salute)

Jimin gently guides Yeonjun away, leaving Taehyung and Jungkook alone in the hallway.
The silence between them is heavy.

(finally speaking, his voice soft but bitter)

Taehyung’s eyes widen at the possessiveness in Jungkook’s tone.
Before he can respond, Jungkook turns and walks away, leaving Taehyung alone with his racing thoughts.
