Saving My Villain Daddy to Claim His Inheritance!
Chapter 1
This is my first chat story. I’m not very good at writing stories, so this book might end up a bit messy since it’s just an experiment.
I think I should make a few quick notes before starting this book.
1. Although the book cover looks historical, the content is entirely modern-day. I’m not skilled at writing historical stories.
2. The main genre of this story isn’t romance. It’s more of a slice-of-life.
3. [I’ll use these for thoughts,] meaning the character is speaking to themselves in their mind.
For now, those are the main notes. If I have more, I’ll add them in the relevant chapters.
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[When I was little, I was always jealous of my older sister, who could go anywhere on her own because she was already grown up.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[She had her own room, her own phone, and even her own TV in her room.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[I always thought that at night, she must stay up late watching TV because there were lots of dramas and interesting shows on.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[Only God knew how jealous I was of her back then.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[Because of that, I wanted to grow up fast and be an adult like her, and go to school on my own without needing anyone to take me.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[Every morning, my sister would take the train to school by herself, just a short distance from our house, and I thought she was so amazing back then.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[When I grew up, I wanted to be just like that.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[I wanted to follow in her footsteps in everything—do what she did, dye my hair neon pink like hers, wear eyeliner so bold even the black metal kids would be outdone.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[And then I’d go out with my friends and hang out at all the big malls around our area.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[But unfortunately, now that I’m grown up, I feel like everything I wanted to do after years of watching my sister just seems so ridiculous.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[Now that I’m grown up, my mood for watching TV has completely faded.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[Never mind watching TV; I don’t even feel like going out to hang out or meet people.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[I’m too tired and fed up with dealing with the different types of personalities that challenge my patience every day.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[My tolerance has thinned so much that sometimes I feel like giving certain people a slap or two.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[If I could be a kid again, I wouldn’t have to deal with all this—I’m just exhausted.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[That’s what I thought, anyway.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[I figured if I became a kid again, rewound time to when my brain was still blissfully underdeveloped, maybe I wouldn’t have to think about so much.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[But I was wrong—so wrong. Even as a kid again, my life is anything but peaceful!]
Lily Sinclair / MC’s Friend
Teacher! Seraphina doesn’t want to be my friend! Uwaaa!
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[Kids who cry so much are really annoying.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
Tsk, so loud.
Lily Sinclair / MC’s Friend
Teacher!!!
Amelia Bianchi / Teacher
Lily, Seraphina! Stop fighting and be friends nicely.
Lily Sinclair / MC’s Friend
She doesn’t want to be my friend! Wahhh!
Amelia Bianchi / Teacher
Alright, stop crying. Why don’t you want to be friends with Lily, Seraphina? Be friends with Lily, go color with her over there.
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[So annoying.]
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
She’s too loud. Talks too much. I need peace. Teacher, can you go color with her and take my place?
Lily Sinclair / MC’s Friend
Teacher! Wahhh!
Amelia Bianchi / Teacher
Seraphina!
Seraphina Hawthorne / MC
[The longer I stay at this kindergarten, the deafer I get.]
