As kaede was about to walk towards Yuki's table he saw Mie sitting with him. "Hey isn't that! Mie...? Kaede, did you see that!!" Osamu said in a surprised tone of voice. Kaede didn't reply but just stood there for a while. Haru said "can't believe, it's his first day at school and he's pulling your crush!" Kaede heard it but didn't replied. After a few seconds he said "let's go sit with them" haru and osamu knew, stopping him would go in vain, so they went along with him and reached their table.

"Hey mie , how have you been?" Kaede asked immediately. Mie had a surprised look while Yuki was shocked to see him again. "Oh hey kaed! What are you doing here" she asked him. "Ahh nothing I was just passing by and saw you, thought we could talk, also..It's been a while since we have seen each other." Kaede said immediately as if he had planned this whole conversation in his mind. Mie replied rather slowly with, "Right, it sure has been some time.." she paused for a moment "anyways, come sit with us ! This here is my new friend Yuki. Do you know him? He is new here." She finished. Everyone including kaede stared at Yuki which made Yuki a bit anxious about his appearance. Yuki sat there fidgeting his fingers while kaede and his friends took seat. Osamu and haru had sat next to him while kaede took the seat beside mie. "ah ! It's Yuki, We have met before, right?" Kaede started as if he wasn't rude to him this morning. Yuki was confused at first but then he thought that maybe he had forgiven him for that incident. After all Yuki was the one to blame himself for everything that happens. "Y-yes.. I remember.. in the morning-" before he could finish mie asked "you two have met before, wow thats good. When ? Where?" "U-uh.. that-" Yuki was interrupted again before he could finish. But this time it was kaede by saying, "yes, he was looking for the way to the office and I showed him the way, RIGHT?" Kaede finished with an evil smile in his face directly looking Yuki in the eye. Yuki got scared with the look and just nodded and said "y-yes.. he helped me.." "reallyyy? Damn, that's the first time I've heard kaede help someone!?" Osamu commented. He and haru both knew what happened actually, but they were just teasing Yuki. "Me too!" Continued haru. Mie listening to this, said "that's really good, maybe kaed has took a liking in you. You both should get along! And kaed! Take care of him okayy :)) !!" Kaede just smiled at this. "And Yuki, You can trust him. He may look rude but he is a nice guy." She continued. Yuki also smiled at this, trying to hide his confusion from face.

The rest of the lunch they just talked about random things, Yuki never tried to get into the conversations. He just listened to everyone and got to know the names of osamu and haru. After lunch they all dispersed and went on their own. Yuki found the way to the class for the next period. The day went by in a blink and when it was time to go home, mie appeared behind him and asked "going home?" Yuki was startled a bit, "ah yes mie" he said smiling. "Oh alright! We are going out a few days later, are you in?" She asked. He wanted to go with her, but thought it was too early to hang out with other kids and he had just enough social anxiety to refuse her. "Uh .. no.. I don't think I'll be free this or the next week, I'm sorry " he said. "Oh... It's alright.. then.. see ya later bye !" She said. "Yes bye bye !" Yuki replied. He saw her walk away and join her friend group. Just when he has about to turn around, he heard someone call his name aloud "YU-KI!" He turned around to see who it was, and the look of his face after realisation only displayed these few words "what does he want now... :("
