Chapter 2

"Mum, dad I thought you said your plane was going to arrive on Thursday before freshman party, I'm so happy to see you."

I sprang up and ran towards them bursting with joy

I mean you can't blame me, it has been over a year since they last came back because of their business abroad.

I mean case you are wondering, I live in this gigantic Mansion alone with some couple of maids just doing their work

I guess that's why I am so reserved and a little introverted. They looked at me with their smiling faces, and it made feel like a kid again.

"Good day Mr and Mrs Miller, how do you do?". Rebecca said with a slight grin. "Oh how are you dear, I see you are still taking care of our little princess."

"But of course,if i don't take care of her then who will." Rebecca said with a grin. My mum smiled and said,

"Of course, you are like her second mum." They settled in, and I quickly went to prepare some snack for them. It has been a long time I was feeling this giddy.

We chatted for a long time about random topics even about the freshman party, my parents know how much of an introvert I am so they urged me even further to join the party.

Although they wanted to keep talking, their trip had already drained them of their energy, so they went straight to bed later on.

Due to their arrival I felt super excited. Rebecca just stood and the couch side and smiled looking at me like how a mother would look at her kid.

Normally I would have been angry but the rush of excitement made me forget about it.

According to Rebecca, the freshman party will start on Friday and today is Wednesday, so I have just two days to prepare.

I planned to tell Dimitri about my feelings for him so I planned to go shopping the next day for clothes and stuff. I hate makeup completely.

But if it will make Dimitri look at me I will put on some makeup.

The next day, I set out to purchase the things I needed for the confess..., I mean party

The supermarket I went to sells everything I needed, so it wasn't that hard to find them. While shopping I kept feeling an intense stare on me.

I tried turning around on certain occasions but I couldn't spot any one all the times I looked back. It was starting to bug me so I left the supermarket as soon as I bought what I needed.

THE DAY FOR THE FRESHMAN PARTY,

I felt nervous and anxious about the confession, but I knew that if I didn't tell him I would regret it so I calmed myself.

Reaching downstairs, I saw Rebecca and Dimitri. Dimitri was an upperclassman who was invited to the party and of course my friend.

We decided that he was going to take us by car. Looking at him dressed so handsome, made my heart skip a beat. He looked so dashing that I felt the need to lock him up for only me to see.

He smiled and said with his deep voice "Hiya char, you ready?" I nodded feeling a bit shy then he said "Wow char, you look so good, did you dress up for me?"

His gaze on me caused me to blush and I said "N...no o..of course not". He grinned and we entered the car. Rebecca just smiled but pushed me to sit in the passenger seat with Dimitri driving.

Throughout the ride, I couldn't help myself from staring at him as my heart just kept thumping like crazy.
