Vee sat on his bed, heart racing as he replayed the brief encounter with Giu in the convenience store.

Why? Are you interested in him?”

Vee felt his cheeks flush. “Just trying to get to know him better. He seems really cool.”

With Chan’s encouragement, Vee sent Giu a friend request, his fingers trembling slightly as he clicked the button.
