[Carefully] I wasn’t aware the King answered to gossip.

King Lucian Vaelmolt (Ml)

[Smirking] Oh, I don’t. But when my little villainess starts digging into forbidden truths, I become… curious.

[Steeling herself] Perhaps I’m just cold.

[Dark amusement in his eyes] Then allow me to warm you.

[He reaches for her, fingers barely brushing her wrist before she jerks away.]

Celestia Vaelmolt (FL)

[Sharply] Don’t.

King Lucian Vaelmolt (Ml)

[Watching her intently] You’ve learned something.

[Flatly] Perhaps.

[Leaning closer, voice a whisper] Then tell me, little villainess… did you like what you found?

Celestia Vaelmolt (FL)

(thoughts): No. Because it means I can never escape you.

[Quietly] It changes nothing.
