The Scrap Of Blue Fabric

1209, Miureann was a newborn, 1220, Miureann was 11 years old and his elder brother, Stevie, was 17 years old. It was in Miureann's blood to be extraordinary, since royal blood ran through his veins, he strived to be perfect and loving for everyone.

While Stevie thought that since he was older than Miureann, he should get all the praise and opportunities, but just sitting around doing nothing won't get you anywhere, Miureann went out to study but also do volunteer work. He earned 8 gold coins every day he worked, he worked on alternative days, so he earned 23 gold coins every week, while Pheonix, their father, worked as a laborer every day and earned 60 gold coins every month.

Adding the extra gold coins earned by Miureann, it was a huge help with the expenses. But Stevie was ungrateful and a brat even as a teenager, he did nothing but lie around or hang out with his friends, just as useless as him.

One night, Miureann returned home late to find Stevie in the usual place, on his mattress on the ground, sleeping, Miureann shook his head and set his earnings on a small table in a corner. Miureann was drenched in sweat and dirt, so he went out and behind their hut to take a bath, but then, he fell to the ground with a straining pain in his head.

After what felt like many hours, Miureann woke up with a terrible headache, he was in an unknown place but had water next to him, he leaned in and looked at his face. Bruises, cuts, swollen cheeks, sore eyelids and a black eye.

He washed his face and sat at his place for a minute, but his royal blood urged him to stand up and do something productive, instead of sitting and crying about his loss, so he did. He limped over to a nearby hut he saw, once he reached to the hut, he took in the details with sorrow in his eyes.

Moss and dust was abundant, Miureann walked inside the hut slowly, "H-Hello. . .? Is there anyone here. .?" he asked, there was no answer, he explored the hut, but there was nothing that could be of use to him. He quietly walked further and further into the dark forest, while walking, he found a little scrap of cloth, it was dyed beautifully in Indigo dye.

The scrap was the size of his thighs, a little bigger than them even, he picked the scrap up and folded it neatly to fit in his pocket, he kept on limping and walking to an unknown destination. The cloudy morning turned to night, but he kept walking, in hope to find some sort of life, he was hungry and helpless, and didn't know what to do in a grave situation like this.

While walking, he bunped into something, it wasn't hard like wood, rather firm like muscle. Miureann looked ahead and saw a figure just a few inches taller than himself, "Hello there, what's that in your pocket?"
