As jungkook lay,cl curled up under the warm blanket, his mind races at their previous encounter,

How he was shamelessly touching the alpha and how the alpha let him do it😳😳

After a while his mind wander around the other things happening with him from the time he woke up .

The day was overwhelming, filled with too many strange and unsettling experiences, the scent of forest and the presence alpha seemed surreal.

💭 I need to figure this out as soon as possible, till now I don't even know were in the hell am I, except that I am in the middle of forest.

💭I need a cooked food to survive here , but how do I get it here in this deep forest, here there will be no food delivery 😭😭😭

The idea of being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no Clear understanding of his situation, sent a chill down his spine.

In middle of his thoughts, he wondered what taehyung is doing as kook is laying down facing the wall, to avoid the alpha's gaze due the the stunt he pull previously.

** peek over his shoulder**

** still sitting near the fire, drawing random shapes on mud floor with the help of thin wooden stick**

jungkook found the alpha's action cute, like a small kid sulking and getting bored.

💭but why isn't he sleeping?

Jungkook wondered, feeling a pang of guilt. he knows he was laying on alpha's comfortable spot, which seemed to be taehyung's bed while the alpha remained on the cold floor.

Jungkook turned back to face pthe wall, trying to ignore the guilt creeping inside him.

he reassured himself

After a while he heard soft rustling behind him, turning to look , he saw the alpha finally laying down, straight on his back on the cold hard floor.

Taehyung

** one arm folded under his head as a makeshift pillow**

** while the other one laying limply on his stomach**

Jungkook watched him for a moment, his heart tightening at the sight.

Despite his rugged appearance, taehyung looked almost serene in his sleep, his chest, raising and falling in the slow, steady rhythm.

💭 he is not even shivering,

Jungkook thought, feeling a bit relieved. But there was still an uncomfortable knot of guilt in his chest.

💭he is letting me have his bed, but now he have to sleep on cold floor because of me😞

Jungkook pulled the blanket closer to himself, trying to block out the cold air that seeped into the room .

But sleep continue to elude him.

An hour passed but he found himself still wide awake, staring at the wall, his mind wandering back to taehyung.

**couldn't shake the image of alpha sleeping on cold floor**

Finally unable to take it anymore he, jungkook fully turned around to face taehyung.

The fire had died down a little, but the room is still warm enough.

In the dim light jungkook could see the calm face of taehyung.

He didn't understand why he is feeling like this, why he is so concerned about a stranger.

but there is something about the alpha, something that made jungkook feel safe despite the unfamiliarity of the situation.

💭he's just... Different.

For the first time that night, kook felt a sense of peace wash over him.

Maybe things would be ok after all.

Maybe, just maybe he was meant to be here, in this strange place , with this strange but kind alpha.

And with this comfortable thought, jungkook finally allowed himself to drift off to sleep, the image of taehyung's peaceful face, last thing on his mind before he was enveloped in the warm embrace of slumber.
