Queen Emarin and her daughters go back to the waterfall to meet the king. When arrived, the king Akito gives the instructions to Hinami.

The shadow approaches while Hinami moves backward. The shadow then swims round Hinami. The waves become more and more violent and sharp like a knife tearing gradually her kimono.
The shadow swims closer while Hinami is thinking on how to escape.
