As Taehyung and Jennie arrive at the steakhouse for lunch to meet Jennie's boyfriend Kai and his son Jungkook,

Taehyung stifles a gasp when he lays eyes on Jungkook - his chiseled jaw,

Taehyung says in disbelief to Jennie as they are walking up to the table.

Yeah. He's home for the summer from college
Jennie sighs, and places a hand on Taehyung's arm, squeezing reassuringly.

I really hope the two of you get along.
Jennie
Especially since we are officially moving in this weekend.
Jennie
You're going to be seeing a lot of each other
Taehyung
Don't worry about me, mom. Everything will be fine
Taehyung says trying to reassure Jennie even though he doesn't quite believe what he's saying.
Us fighting isn't exactly what Taehyung had in mind. No.
Something equally as sweaty, but more pleasurable than painful.
As Taehyung and Jennie arrive at the table, Kai stands and offers Jennie a kiss, while Jungkook remains seated.
His onyx black eyes pass over Taehyung disinterested, and he leans back to grab his drink and buries himself taking a sip.

Jungkook, you're being rude. Stand up and greet them properly.
Orders Kai as he nudges Jungkook's chair, which makes Jungkook grunt. So much for first impressions.
Taehyung makes a first attempt to introduce himself. He offers Jungkook his hand and watches with embarrassment
As Jungkook doesn't reach to shake it. A few seconds later, Taehyung drops his hand back down to his side and sits quietly in his seat.
Jennie and Kai join him in sitting. Taehyung contemplates calling out Jungkook on his bullshit.
As much as Taehyung wants to match Jungkook's fuçking arrogance, he doesn't want to piss off Jennie,
So it's probably best he keeps his mouth shut.

Kai says in an apologetic voice. Jungkook snickers, leaning back arrogantly in his chair while crossing his arms.
