Thunder rumbled ominously in the sky, causing Lin Jichen to momentarily retract his good mood as he hurried towards the Tianyan Sword Sect.

"Thank you." Lin Jichen promptly pocketed the letter and dashed inside.

"What's with that guy, running like his life depends on it? Is he in a rush to be reborn or something?" the guarding disciple muttered.

If Lin Jichen had heard him, he would have retorted that he wasn't rushing to be reborn, but that if he didn't hurry, he might indeed be forced into a rebirth.
