She is Natalia Camelo, a middle-class Colombian woman from the city of Bogota, currently 26 years old. She is married to an attractive middle-class Russian man named Abram Yaroslav.
They met in Colombia when she was 19 years old and he was 26. She was already in her 6th semester of architecture thanks to savings that her parents had been making for years for her career. The two had a lot of chemistry from the moment they met, so a month after meeting, they decided to start a relationship. Abram convinced her to do a university exchange in Moscow, and that's how she traveled to Russia.
When Natalia turned 20, Abram proposed to her, despite the opposition of her parents, who never approved of their relationship because they said that Natalia was not at the level of a Yaroslav.
For this reason, Abram and Natalia decided to have a ceremony only with Natalia's family and some friends of both.
Natalia didn't care that her husband's family didn't accept her; after all, as she said, she wouldn't live with them.
Two years later she graduated as an architect and started working in the same architecture company as her husband, which over the years has been growing and gaining recognition. It's not as big or as important as the Vasilev company, but it's growing step by step.
Currently, they have a small two-bedroom apartment, a car, and continue to work together to grow their company, although now her father-in-law has shares in the company and has other plans for his son, plans that do not include Natalia.
Abram travels a lot for work, or at least that's what Natalia believes, so today is their sixth anniversary. She has prepared an exquisite dinner for him, although this dinner is not precisely intended to celebrate their anniversary. She has found out through some magazines that her dazzling husband is engaged to Niurka Valusva, the daughter of a Russian tycoon, news that has torn her loving heart apart and she hopes that her husband has the guts to tell her the truth.
📱Hi Nata, has the traitor arrived yet?
📱No Heily, not yet, but he shouldn't be long. If he doesn't plan on telling me the truth himself, then I'll confront him. Remember that I can come to your apartment at any time. I don't think I can spend the night here after what we talk about.
📱Well, my Nata, I'll be waiting for you with the polas (beers) ready and my shoulder for you to cry on. Remember that I love you.
Natalia hung up the call with her friend Heily and heard the garage door close.
She took a deep breath, put on her best smile, and opened the door, throwing herself into her husband's arms, but was rejected; she pretended not to notice.
"My love, I hope your trip went very well. I missed you so much these three months."
"Naty, we need to talk. Please sit down," Abram tells her seriously.
Natalia also becomes serious and sits down on an armchair in the small living room. She already knows what is going to happen but it is not yet the time to explode.
"What is it, my love? You're worrying me."
Abram takes a deep breath, takes a few puffs of air, and utters a very painful phrase for Natalia.
"Natalia, I don't love you anymore."
"This is a joke, right?"
"No, Naty, I'm serious. I don't love you anymore and I want a divorce."
Natalia kept her composure although she was broken inside. Those words tore at her loving heart.
"What changed, Abram? Because if just three months ago you went to Italy telling me how much you loved me, now you simply say the opposite?"
"There are no reasons, simply our relationship cooled down and I no longer feel the same way I did six years ago. You are an incredible woman, but I can't continue with this farce."
"Very well, Abram. I was hoping that you would finally have the guts to tell me things to my face. Since we met we both promised to be honest. I have been honest with you, but I have not received the same from you. So for the last time, tell me what is the real reason for asking me for a divorce."
Abram remained silent. He didn't want to give her the real reason so as not to hurt her more.
"Very well, you're not going to talk, so I will. I know that the reason this is ending has a woman's name, but more than that it has your goddamn ambition behind it and of course the influence of your parents. You're shameless. You got engaged to Niurka Valusva while still married. I hope you're happy because you're trading gold for shit, and when you realize it, it will be too late, because from today on I don't want you back in my life ever again."
"Naty, I didn't want to hurt you, that's why I didn't tell you anything, but I don't want us to end up as enemies. I think that after all these years we deserve to have a good farewell. How about we enjoy the delicious dinner you prepared and then you show me the surprise of the night in the room?"
"And what did you say, Christmas? That you're going to screw this chick before you leave and everyone will be happy? No, baby, you already chose your path a while ago, and this little body you enjoyed so much, you will never touch it again. So grab your bags, they're already packed, and go into the arms of your impatient fiancee."
"No, Natalia, you are wrong. The one who must collect her things and leave is you. This is my house. The only thing you can take is the furniture and your clothes, but this house is mine as well as the car and the company, so you have no right to anything."
"You are a wretch, I can't believe it. How could I have been so blind to you? Fine, I'm not interested in this house or the car, or even the money that I have also contributed to your company. Fortunately, I am an intelligent woman and I know how to work. Starting from scratch will not be difficult for me. Tell me where to sign the divorce."
Abram opened his suitcase and took out the folder with the document.
"You definitely have to have a very cold soul to hurt without feeling even an ounce of remorse."
Natalia took the document and read it carefully, surprised by the coldness with which the man was acting. After verifying that everything was in order, she signed.
"Here's your freedom, Abram. I hope that what you are doing can give you the happiness that you did not find with me. I only ask for two days to get my things out of this house."
"Naty, I'm sorry, I didn't want to hurt you."
"Don't be a hypocrite, you knew what you were doing so save your false excuses."
Natalia hurried up the stairs, grabbed a small suitcase that she had previously packed, and left without looking back.
She stopped a taxi and got in, heading for her friend Heily's apartment.
Her heart was broken but she had promised herself she wouldn't break down in front of him.
