Bride of Youngest Rajvanshi
Soffecating...
The night had already taken a turn Meera hadn’t anticipated. The engagement ceremony was meant to be a celebration, a joyful union of two families. Yet here She was, standing on the dance floor, mortified and holding back tears as Vedanth stormed off without a word. His rushed, sharp movements during their dance had already drawn curious glances, but his abrupt departure left everyone whispering.
Meera couldn’t take it anymore. The weight of the stares, the judgment in the air—it crushed her. Without thinking, she turned and hurried away, her heels clicking against the marble floor. She didn’t stop until she reached the backyard, the cool night air brushing against her skin. The dimly lit garden provided solace, but her emotions spilled over.
She leaned against a pillar, her hands gripping the cold surface tightly as tears brimmed in her eyes. The embarrassment, the frustration, the pain—it all came crashing down. Why did he do that? Why now, in front of everyone? she thought bitterly. Her chest heaved as she fought to steady her breath, but the ache in her heart made it impossible to calm down.
Rupali Rajvanshi
“Bhabhi?”
The soft, familiar voice startled her. Meera turned quickly, brushing away a stray tear, and saw Rupali standing a few steps away.
Meera’s voice broke, and she immediately looked away, not wanting Rupali to see her in such a vulnerable state.
