I opened my eyes I was in hospital, suddenly I remembered what happened. It was terrifying in fact terrifying would be the least to describe that. The time that man punched there were even more men coming towards him at least ten would be there, they were wearing some weird clothes with chain hanging through their neck looking like a gangster. I saw the running men pounding on to Nick, he was bleeding heavily, his face was all bruised. I didn't know what to do, with my shaking hand I reached out to my phone, and I was about to call the police when I saw one man was running towards me with a big iron rod, and he hit the windshield of the car it was broken into pieces and I don't know what happened next, I think I passed out.

Suddenly it came to my mind, where is Nick?, is he safe? I jump off the hospital bed,, but the nurse stopped me. I asked Nurse if She knew any patient name Nick Christopher. And thankfully she knew and took me towards his hospital ward. I was just hoping that he was alright and nothing happened to him but not everything you hope comes true right?

I saw nameplate where his name was written. It reads Nick Christopher, age 21. I opened the gate and i wasn't expecting that at all. I saw him lying on the hospital bed with eyes closed wearing an oxygen mask, the left leg had been plastered and so was his left arm, there were some doctors around him. I asked the nurse what happened if he's alright. "He's in comma, but the good thing is he has no problems in his brain and no internal bleeding" she quoted. I couldn't help and tears roll down on my cheeks. I could never in my life imagined that I will every have tears in my eyes for none other than Nick Christopher.

I moved forward and Mr.and Mrs Christopher was sitting on the sofa and I saw Mrs Christopher was weeping, and her husband was consoling her. They saw me and reached up to me and asked if I was alright. Mrs Christopher hugged me and started to weep again, and I too couldn't contain my emotions, i hugged her back and tried to console her. Nick's little sister Jenna came forward and consoled her mother and i gravitated towards Mr Christopher to ask if he knew why it all happened. He said," I don't know who they were and why did they come for our son, but Cops said that they have arrested those men and currently investigating them, those men were paid, and they didn't know who the person is who instructed them as it was through a phone call and money was wired. I didn't know who would do that to my son and I mean what has he ever done to them" And after saying these Mr Christopher started to sob. I just couldn't handle the fact that somebody wanted Nick dead. I mean why

I was just indulge into my thought that I heard footsteps from behind. A man probably be in his fortys was marching forward with some men behind him, he was tall and he looks like those mafia men in the movies. Mr Christopher welcomed him and that man talked for few minutes with Mr Christopher and left. 'who is he"? I asked from Jenna. She replied," he is the new business partner of dad, remember the outskirt real-estate that's going viral over the social media for its commendable view and that they are going to construct new buildings and sports complex, he is the partner that helping dad building up". "alright, I see". My focused again changed on to Nick who was lying on the hospital bed. I just couldn't believe he is the same Nick who was flirting with me the yesterday morning. I couldn't help but only think about him staring at him blankly. I wanted him to wake up and give me the same creepy look which he used to. I was missing him albeit he was in front of me. His creepy look doesn't seem to be creepy anymore, his flirtatious talks doesn't seem to be irritating me right now, his usage of random nicknames for me, I wanted to hear and feel all that again, for some reason I was blaming myself for his condition and now I couldn't stand it anymore, I don't know i feel dizzy and collapsed on the ground.
