3.2 mothers (part two)

“Sit down” she said, so I did,

And for a while she stared at me, I was afraid, questions rushed through my mind,

And then she said “I have been holding this for a long time but, don't worry about your past life”

I lost my speech for a while,

Then I asked “For how long do you know?”

“Since you were born,” she replied,

I know for a newborn, not crying is an abnormal sign but…

“How?” I asked,

She looked at me then took out a pendant, it was a black telepathy pendant,

After I got the glance of it I immediately grabbed her hands, and with concern I asked “mom, what do you think you're doing?”

My concern was the effect of the pendant,

Sometimes people use jewels of nyx,

These jewels let them use any nyx it contains for a 1 or 2 times and shatter into pieces after use,

But some powerful ones stay longer, and if used then one will face the side effects of it,

Like nyx of telepathy drains away one's life,

She took me in her arms,

While I am a 39 year old guy crying exactly like a five year old,

Then comes the question and answer

“How many times have you used it?”

I asked,

“5 times maybe”

“Why”

“Because I didn't want you to end up like someone”

“Who?”

“My younger sister”

“How much time do you have?”

“Maybe 20 or 15 years”

The question filled my mind but it felt like something was stuck in my throat,

“Listen Aether, no matter who you were in your past life, you are my son now and will always be my son, so do me a favour”

I looked at her and she said something which I'll never forget.

After her words, I cleared off my tears and said “I will”.

We Both got up,

“We are getting late for dinner” She said,

“Are they outside" I suspected,

And yes they were trying to listen to our conversation,

“They are, but they can't hear us” she replied,

She was using her nyx of sound.

“I won't tell them your secret” she said,

“Also..” she added,

“ soon you will become an older brother,” she said then

And faced me with a smile,

And I stared at her with astonishment,

“Ha!” I exclaimed

Scene change: 5 years later

yui and I clash our swords,

we were training 1 kilometres away from the mansion,

I jumped back, I tried but couldn't hit her, and all of a sudden she got close to me,

I had no choice but to use the jewel of fire,

The jewel got cracks and I hit her with a fireball.

Because of the impact, dust covered the view,

"did I get her" I said after I coughed,

And of course not, fireballs came out of the smoke,

All I could do was run through the woods,

I hide down a small slope and run to the dense forests,

And She just likes a villain, came out of the fire saying,

"Come on, Is that all you've got,"
