CHAPTER 2

RACHEL POV

"Do you understand what you're supposed to do?" I asked irritably.

He has been asking for help repeatedly since earlier, constantly repeating what he needs to do, but every time I asked if he knew what to do, his response was the same.

"I still don't understand..." he replied. I gave him a disapproving look.

"How many times do I have to repeat it?" I raised my voice, causing other employees to glance at us.

"You're shouting at me, where is our manager when I mentioned that the one teaching me is getting upset!" he hinted to the other employees.

"This is it! I won't shout anymore... I need to stay calm all the time because you're special," I said softly, trying to calm down.

AFTER 1 HOUR

"Do you understand now? I hope the next person in your position will understand before I lose my patience here," I complained.

"I still don't... it's difficult," he said, crossing his arms.

ASHER POV

I understood earlier but kept saying I didn't, and I could see the frustration in his eyes, even his teeth were grinding in annoyance.

'She looks cute when she's annoyed...'

She sighed and lightly slammed the table. I looked at her clenched fists.

"Do you want to hit me, hmm?" I teasingly said.

"Yes, since earlier," just as ahe was about to hit me, she suddenly pretended to straighten up. I noticed her looking in another direction, so I glanced there too.

'The manager...'

"Listen, all employees, whether you're ugly or handsome, attention! CEO Ashford will be here soon, so no one should mess up and act foolish. Do you understand!" he shouted.

"Tsk... he's going to act all nice again, pretending to be kind when the CEO is around, then when he's not, he'll be grumpy even if he's replaced, why do they pay attention..." Rachel whispered, but I heard it.

"You're making yourself look crazy talking to yourself," I whispered to her.

"Hey, zip your mouth, I'm your senior, you need to obey me!" she snapped.

"Why, are you afraid I'll report you?" I teased.

"Shhhh, you might be heard, his hearing is like a bat, tsk," she said, frowning.

FAST FORWARD

"Hello everyone, how is the company here?" Dad greeted.

His gaze landed on me, but I signaled for him not to look at me, which he immediately followed.

"Soon, I will introduce my only child and the sole heir of MMF. Manager, be kind to the newcomers," Dad said.

'What's with his look at me, im not weak!'

I continued to look at him, but I noticed Rachel was no longer beside me. 'Where is she?' I searched for her and saw her far away from me.

She was talking to another woman, engaging in conversation...'engaging in conversation? I haven't even told her that I understood her explanation earlier!'

I raised my hand while seated at my table. "CEO Ashford, don't the newcomers get taught?" I asked, even though I knew the answer.

"Yes, Asher-" I was surprised by what he said and so was he.

"Sir, it's wrong, his name is Aizen," the manager corrected.

"Yes, I know. Why are you asking that, Aizen?" he followed up with what I wanted to convey.

"I was left by the one who was teaching me, the CEO and Manager," I said, glancing at Rachel.

"Ah, you still don't get it?" she said, irritated.

"Yes..." I replied.

"I've told you over and over again, even a child would understand after it's repeated to them 20 times. Yet, you're the one who's hard to teach," she complained.

"Well, if I still don't understand, what can I do about it?" I said, crossing my arms.

Although she didn't say it, her actions revealed her annoyance as she approached me with a forced smile.

AFTER 23 MINUTES

"I still don't understand, it's difficult," I said, looking at her who was now visibly annoyed.

"Aizen, I've dedicated minutes, even hours, to teach you, yet you still don't grasp it. Are you suggesting you take ownership of my time?" I was taken aback by her statement.

"Pardon?"

"You've essentially claimed my work hours; perhaps you should compensate me for my time, similar to the salary structure here at MMF," she stated.

"Agreed..."

"What are you saying, you think you can afford just my daily wage, you won't be able to handle it, learn on your own there," she complained and was about to leave.

"I'll report you to the manager," I said, causing her to return to her seat.

"That's it! That's it!" he sat down and opened the folder again.

"It's like this *@€÷;#£×¥×,#¥×;#€÷;

I wasn't listening to her, just staring at her while teaching, it was enjoyable to watch her.

"Now, you try," she said. I adjusted my seat and did it. I was better than her. I just wanted to annoy her.

2 MINUTES LATER

"I'm done-" I stopped when I saw her bowing her head and falling asleep. I observed her.

MEANWHILE, OTHER EMPLOYEES

"Did you notice he was taught for an hour, but when he started doing it, he finished in 2 minutes?"

"Did you see how Aizen was staring at Racher?"

"Oh yes, maybe that's why Aizen couldn't understand Rachel's explanation, he was just staring at her."
