Henry looks at Celine, a flicker of disappointment crossed his face. However, he nods, understanding the need for her to attend to prior commitments.

Alright, Celine. I'll stay here. You go ahead.

Celine nods to both Henry and her son before heading out of the hospital room.

They remain in silence as the door closes behind her, leaving Henry and Vin/Arlo alone.

(turns to Vin) Well, it's just the two of us now, I suppose...

Vin doesn't respond immediately. He leans back against the hospital bed, his gaze drifting out the window. The silence between them hangs heavy in the air, broken only by the occasional beeping of the medical equipment.

(steps away from the bedside, speaking quietly on the phone)

After a brief exchange, Henry ends the call, looking somewhat concerned.

I'm sorry, I have to go too. There's an emergency at work I need to attend to.

He appears conflicted, as if torn between staying and leaving. He looks at him, his expression apologetic.

Once Henry leaves the room, Vin's tough facade finally crumbles. The weight of the situation and the overwhelming confusion hit him all at once. He sits alone on the hospital bed, his tough exterior replaced by a vulnerable expression. He buries his face in his hands, his shoulders shaking as silent tears roll down his cheeks. His thoughts are a tangled mess. He doesn't know what to do, where to go, or who he really is anymore.

He allows himself this moment of weakness, his tough act forgotten. He lets the tears fall freely, his breathing uneven as he tries to process the mix of emotions surging through him. The quietness of the room is only interrupted by the occasional soft sob escaping his lips.
