Outside the hospital
The early morning sun had just begun to peek through the thick clouds, casting a soft golden glow on the world. The usually busy hospital seemed to hum with an eerie calm as Ragini, Christian, Rahul, Agastya, and Ankita made their way through the front doors.
Ragini's eyes were tired, but her face radiated a soft glow. She had been running on nothing but hope and strength since they got the news about Virendra's condition. Christian, ever the protective husband, walked beside her, his eyes constantly scanning the surroundings. The weight of his responsibilities, both as a husband and as a protector, seemed heavy today.
Rahul, their little boy, walked ahead of them, his small hands gripping onto Agastya’s much larger one. He was trying to be brave, but his face betrayed his concern, his eyes constantly darting back at his mother, searching for reassurance. Ankita, as always, had a calm, composed air, but even she couldn’t hide the worry in her eyes.
Ragini sighed softly as she looked at her family, her heart feeling as though it was constantly being pulled in multiple directions.

I hope he wakes up today. I just need to hear his voice, Christian..."
