I was walking through several collections of dresses when the sparkling one caught my attention. "Ugh, why do dresses have to be so expensive? I really like this dress a lot though," I said to myself while pouting.

I went to a few stores on the side of the road for no reason, maybe I was too bored to be alone at home. I entered a store which had the best dress I had ever seen. I loved this dress since God knew when, but poor me, I didn't have enough money to buy it. It wasn't anything special, I just wanted to own at least one pretty dress. I just got my monthly allowance from my grandparents who lived so far away from me, so I thought I'd use the money that I had been saving to buy something just for me.

While I was looking for the another dress that I could probably afford, I heard some noises of a boy and a girl who were in a same store as I was. They sounded like bickering, but I couldn't believe what I just saw with my own eyes. Kim Taehyung and Choi Hyemin were bickering in the middle of a clothing store!

"Hyemin, that's it! I'm done with you!" Taehyung said while ruffling his hair. He seemed frustrated.

Hyemin raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms on her chest. "What do you mean?"

"I'm tired of your bitchy behavior, okay?! You're so annoying, you know?!"

This looked so much like a TV drama when Hyemin suddenly gasped. "What did I do wrong, Taehyung?! Tell me!"

"You're using me only for shopping stuffs. You don't love me, you love my money!" Taehyung exclaimed, causing me to widen my eyes when I heard that. I closed my mouth with my hand as I was quite shocked. Was that true though? Was Hyemin really only using Taehyung for his money?

"What the hell, Taehyung?! I never did that!" Hyemin defended with her eyes widened and started to get teary.

"I don't care about you anymore. It's enough and I'm so done with you. We're breaking up!"

I completely let loose of my jaws. I couldn't believe what I just heard. I pinched my cheeks to check if this wasn't a dream. I mean, come on, I heard that Taehyung and Hyemin were really a nice couple. Well yeah, they were really arrogant indeed, but they seemed so sweet and nice to each other. I was starting to wonder whether or not the whole break up was only a prank or something.

I saw Hyemin drop her jaws too and tears drop from her eyes. Maybe that wasn't a prank after all. "W-What? Please tell me you're lying."

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Whatever, I'm done," he said before going out from the store, leaving Hyemin who was standing frozen in her place.

Everyone started whispering about what they just witness. Yup, they just witnessed a couple break up. Not to mention they also were staring at the girl who cried in the middle of a store. I silently went out from the store and tried to catch up Taehyung. I eventually found him sitting on a park bench, alone, in the same park which he confessed his feelings about his problem with Jimin.

I was about to say hi when he noticed my presence. He didn't complain or anything, instead he just sighed and looked down on the ground. "You saw us previously at the store, right?"

"How did you know?"

"If you didn't see us, there's no way you could follow me from that store to here."

Oh, he knew I was following him? "How did you know I was following you?"

"Your steps were obvious, Jihae," he said, which made me chuckle.

Well, I couldn't be a reliant detective then. "Ah, right. Yeah, sorry for following you. I just want to make sure that you're okay," I said. "You're upset, aren't you?"

"I'm not sure," he said, "but I do definitely not regret breaking up with Hyemin. She drove me crazy, you know?"

"Do you look upset because you're lonely?"

He shrugged. "I don't know," he said. "Maybe I'm just scared that no one else will want to be with me."

"Hey, come on, what are they going to say if the king of school becomes a sad guy like this only because he broke up with a girl? There are a lot of girls who are waiting for you, Taehyung. You're popular, who would reject your love?" I said as I chuckled.

He seemed to be thinking of something before suddenly turning to me without saying anything. "Um, Taehyung? Why are you staring at me? It creeps me out."

A smirk appeared on his face. "You said that no one would reject my love, right?"

"Uh... yeah?" I said, feeling like something was going to go horribly wrong.

His smirk became naughtier. I became flustered as I was afraid of what he would say next, which was true. He did say something that scared me. "So... do you want to be my girlfriend?"

I gulped.
