Chapter 4 - Evil tyrant king

To weeks has passed by since Celestina decided to marry the king of Aragon even though he hadn't accepted the marriage proposal.

Now Celestina sat in a white carriage with a phoenix emblem signifying the vengeance royal family with her personal maid, Diana sitting opposite her.

Celestina stared outside the carriage window at the palace before letting out a small sigh.

'So no one's going to see me off. It's like they're praying for me not return '

Celestina put down the curtains not wanting to see any more of the awful place she once called home.

"They are all ungrateful people my lady, none of them deserves your care or sacrifice! "

Celestina smiled at Diana whose cheeks were puffed out as she ranted out her hatred for Celestina's family who had always maltreated Celestina ever since she was young.

"You don't have to blame them, I'm sure they had their reason to not see me off"

Diana pouted angrily.

"Why are you taking their side my lady? "

Diana asked as she puffed out her cheeks childishly once again in anger making Celestina giggle.

"Am not taking sides Diana, I'm just stating facts. "

Diana kept shut as she folded her arms childishly and she and Celestina sat together in a comfortable silence but then suddenly there was a knock on the carriage window.

Celestina opens the window and found Noah mounted on a dark-colored horse beside the carriage.

"What is it Noah "

Celestina asked gently making Noah smile.

"Just wanted to know if you're comfortable cause this is going to be a long journey "

"How long do you think it'll take us to get to the Aragon empire? "

Celestina asked sighing tiredly.

Noah touches his chin in thought. "Umm... probably two weeks if it goes smoothly "

Celestina nodded her head slowly before staring back at him with a smile.

"I see. Thank you"

Noah rubbed the back of his neck as his face warm up in a blush.

"It's nothing your highness "

Celestina glanced at Diana and was not shocked when she found her glaring at Noah.

Diana scoffed. "Stop trying to act cute around the princess"

"So you think I'm cute? "Noah asked teasing Diana whose face turned bright red at his words.

"I never said that!! "

Diana yelled, and then they started arguing like kids making Celestina sigh.

The two never really got along but they both had one thing in common, they both cared for Celestina.

Apart from her father, Noah and Diana were the only one who knew about Celestina's ability, but they never judged or hate her for it and Celestina would forever be grateful to have them both.

"Okay that's enough" Celestina said, and they immediately ended their bickering.

Noah moved away from the carriage and Celestina closed the window shut with a small sigh letting her mind wonder off to the Aragon empire.

In the Aragon empire only the males can shift into dragons whenever they want to while the females just had supernatural strength.

According to the rumors Celestina has heard, the Aragon empire was an ugly and disgusting place where people with the ability to shift into dragons feast on human flesh and blood.

The rumors about the empire itself didn't really scare Celestina, but it was the rumors about her future husband, the infamous emperor of the Aragon empire Vladimir Talon Demonia.

The man was known for his cruel and mysterious nature, and he was called an evil tyrant king.

Just the thought of living with such a person made Celestina shiver in fear.

Celestina has never been there before, so she didn't know if the rumors were true or not, but she did pray the rumors were false.

'Just hope I survive... '

After two weeks of a tiring journey Celestina and her companions finally got to the Aragon empire.

They were just about to cross the border when three shirtless men in black pants suddenly appeared out of nowhere taking Noah and the other knights by surprise.

Celestina sensing that something was wrong opens the window cautiously.

"Noah is everything alright" She asked.

Noah draws out his sword and points it at the unknown men. "Close the window princess "He said glaring at the men.

" Who are you people and what are you doing in the Aragon empire "

One of the men asked calmly as he stared at the knights who had their swords pointed out at them with a raised brow.

"Tell us who you are first, and maybe we'll do the same" Noah negotiated.

"And why do we have to introduce ourselves to trespassers?"

Another one asked making Noah blink stupidly.

"We are warriors of the Aragon empire and you're trespassing our land without permission from the lord"

At the man's words Noah immediately gestured to the knights to lower their swords.

"My apologies. I had no idea that you were on patrol. We are the knights of the euphoria kingdom" Noah explained making them nod.

"I see, but who are the people in the carriage? I smell female scent, two of them if am correct "

One the men said staring curiously at the carriage making Noah eyes widen in shock.

"How did you know that? "

"A dragon's specialty "

"I see, well-"

Noah's word were cut short by the sound of the carriage door being pulled opened.

Diana came out of the carriage and held out her hand and a slender and small hand which was covered in a green silk glove held on to Diana's hand and Celestina came out of the carriage.

The three men were quite surprised by the beauty of the woman in green who came out of the carriage ever so elegantly.

The woman had red hair that looks identical to the crimson color of blood and electric blue eyes which almost seems to glow. She was a beautiful with a short and petite physique which wasn't very common in the Aragon empire.

Celestina faced the Aragon men and curtsey like she had been taught trying not to stare at the broad chest of the Aragon men feeling uncomfortable with the half naked men, but she wasn't scared of anything happening because of the surrounding knights.

"Greeting gentlemen. My name is Celestina Angelica de Vengeance, and I'm the first princess of the euphoria kingdom and also... your Emperor's fiancé"

Blake the eldest of the silver dragon brothers frowns in confusion at her words. "I'm sorry princess, but we were told nothing about the Lord's... engagement "

Blake explained.

"Well now that you know can you let us in? "

Noah asked standing close to Celestina protectively.

The youngest of the brothers, Stephan rolled his eyes as if annoyed.

"We can't cause we love our lives"

Stephan said making his second brother Ezekiel hit him hard behind his head and he groaned in pain letting out a series of curses not minding the fact that there was a princess in front of him.

"What he's trying to say is that we can't allow you in if we don't have permission to" Ezekiel explained with a stiff smile.

"Oh... "

Celestina sighed secretly relieved that she wouldn't be getting married since the emperor hasn't accepted the marriage proposal but Stephen who thought it was a sigh of disappointment immediately thought of a solution.

"I can go and ask his majesty if that would make you feel better "

"Oh no! you don't have to "

Celestina immediately yelled, but the brothers weren't listening to her anymore.

"Just go and stop wasting time"

At Stephen's word Ezekiel bowed his head at Celestina and made space for himself before shifting into a huge dragon with smooth and shiny silver scale.

The terrifyingly huge dragon bows his huge head at Celestina once again before taking off into the sky leaving Celestina with her jaw dropped as she stared at the flying dragon.

'Oh my goodness... '
