Sacrificial Bride SilverCrest Empire

The SilverCrest Empire was a beautiful empire that had lush green fields with bountiful harvest, elegant and magnificent architecture where the subjects lived happily. The Emperor and Empress treated their subjects as their kids and so the empire flourished quickly.

But

There's always a but in such stories.

Few years back, the subtle shifts began to disrupt the harmony. A series of unforeseen challenges emerged casting a shadow over the prosperous empire.

The whole empire was affected by erratic unpredictable weathers, a mysterious illness with no cure and the poverty creeping its way amidst the roads of the Empire. The Emperor and Empress were trying everything they can to make things better but whatever they did all failed.

Esther continued begging to her mom. But Empress Maria had her ears shut to her daughter. Esther De Geire, the second princess of SilverCrest was ignored and unfavorable princess. She was innocent, simple and slow in wits. But she tried everything she can to impress her family, to get their love, to be a part of them.

During night, a figure walked down the stairs towards the kitchen. It was cold season, everything was silent. The figure rummaged through kitchen and came out with two food plates that were full. It walked up quietly and reached the locked door. The figure slid the two plates inside and knocked in a pattern.
