Days passed by, things were getting more bad. The SilverCrest Empire was dealing with other empires for food supplies. As for Esther, her days were same. She had to wake up early in the morning, start studying, eat in afternoon then learn Etiquette from her teacher, study more in night till she sleeps in exhaustion.

In Evening, when all the court affairs were finished, Emperor Oliver and Empress Maria went to their room to relax. As they laid down, a happy girl walked into their room. The scent of her body wafted around the room. She stood in front her parents.

In Early Morning, Emperor Oliver and Empress Maria, went to Esther's room and woke up her gently. They asked her to get ready, and come down to eat. Esther was happy to see their parents and she obeyed them immediately. The next moment, she was downstairs with her family. Her parents asked maids to give her breakfast. They talked with her. Sierra was doubtful of their actions, but Suzy already informed them that they are accepting Esther's hard work.

The whole day, Esther's parents, Suzy and Sierra pampered her. Esther was happy beyond her imagination. She believed everything will get better soon. As the night approached, her parents asked her to dress in the clothes they picked.

It was pitch dark outside the castle. Maria took Esther at the back of the castle. Sierra and Suzy were preparing for the ritual. Oliver was sitting on the chair imagining about his prosperous empire dream that will soon became true. Suzy drew a circle in the middle of the ground and asked Maria to let Esther stand in it.

Maria asked everyone to stand behind the summoning circle. They were standing in four direction facing Esther. Suzy, Maria and Oliver had already learnt the ritual spell. They started chanting it.

The clouds turned more dark hiding the beautiful moonlight. Everything went pitch dark, only the ritual lights were burning. A cold breeze flew around them which was getting intense at every second. The voices of their spells were increasing, Esther felt her body getting weak as she slumped on the ground.

Esther didn't heard what Sierra said due to her weakness. Her whole body was burning with pain. Her vision was blurry and her throat was getting dry. She needed water and begged to her family. But no one offered her water and they continued chanting.
