Episode 4

The sun entered through a crack in the window and gently touched Leyne's face. He opened his eyes and finally realized that he was still in the house of that mysterious man.

Leyne smelled coffee as he walked down the stairs.

Tez: Good morning! Come on, the coffee's ready.

Leyne looked at the chair where Tez had tied up a man the day before. The chair was there, but the man was not.

Leyne: What happened to that man?

Tez: He wanted to leave.

Leyne: "Like?" You let him go?

Tez: What's the problem, he said everything he knew. And I gave my word I'd let him go.

Leyne: And what about me? You let one of my pursuers go, and I'm going to stay here?

Once again, Tez watched Leyne feed himself.

The next morning, Tez looked in the room next door and didn't find Leyne. He went down the stairs and saw that the coffee was ready. He took a cup of the pure, bitter coffee and walked slowly towards the glass door. At that moment, he could see Leyne in the garden; he was watering the daisies.

Leyne came back towards the house and smiled at Tez.

Almost at the same time, the doorbell rang.

Tez went to the door to answer it. He was expecting someone, but when he opened the door, it wasn't who he was expecting.

1st Man: Get in! He's inside.

The men started shooting, Tez was hit in the arm before closing the heavy door of the house with his foot.

Tez: Boy! Go to the room! Quick!

Leyne ran into the house, but the men broke in. One of them jumped over the wall and surprised Leyne.

Leyne: Aaah! Let go of me!

Tez saw the man who had grabbed Leyne but couldn't reach him at that moment because he started fighting with the other invaders.

The first one, he reached stealthily, disarming him before knocking him unconscious. Tez ran to his collection room and grabbed a gun, and as soon as he came out, he knocked down two more invaders. Leaving only the 1st man and a 3rd who had grabbed Leyne.

Tez: Let him go!

1st Man: Why did you lie? See what you did?

Tez: It's not quite like that. Have you looked outside? Unless you count on the poor guy you left at the wheel, there's no one to help you.

1st Man: Enough nonsense! Get out of the way and let's go!

Without waiting any longer, Tez shot the man holding Leyne, and then the 1st man.

Tez: Are you okay?

Leyne: I'm fine, I am.

Footsteps approached where they were, and Tez turned the gun, pointing it in the direction of the footsteps.

A young man with glasses wearing a suit appeared.

Tez: Rodrigo!? Why didn't you say anything? I almost shot you!

Rodrigo: Sir, I took care of a man who was waiting in the car ahead. This is the doctor.

A gentleman in a white coat appeared behind Rodrigo.
