Daughter

She already had the speculation about his affairs but never dared to confirm it. Since once, she did that she may find something way more painful than anything. She hid all pain away.

"It would be much appreciated if you and your daughter could move out immediately. I want my family to live here, and they hate you people." he said with an evil grin on his face.

" The house....the company...is mine" her tears flowed down more. " You have no part in raising my company how dare you…" she added.

Then the lady beside David interrupted them saying

" Honey~~ let's go to the hotel… I don't want to stay in the same room with this whore…"

" Okay honey come on."

The pair left Maple in there sobbing for this revelation. Then night came, and her daughter arrived home from school.

" Mom...mom... I'm home…" this is her usual routine. Once she enters the house she comes in calling her then greet her.

Surprisingly it was unusually quiet.

Then she heard sobbing sounds. She followed the sound and found her mother in a poor state.

" Mom !...what happened? Tell me." she could not bear to see her like this.

"ACK….sob…sob…ACK.. I'm….so..sorry" Maple just stood there crying and apologizing.

Though she already figured it out, after all the only person that can make her cry like that would be none other than her good for nothing father.

" Mom, breathe...slowly now...breathe. Now tell me what happened." as she consoled her, Maple started to become relaxed. Maple told Liliana what happened.

"He's already a scumbag, yet it wasn't enough for him to tormenting you."

"David is still your father..."

"Well...then let's leave he was the one who told us to leave in the first place."

"We can't, I did my best for my business to grow. He must give it to me first."

"Mom..."

It was her life's work. Not just anyone could take it away from her. But things weren't so simple. Because all her authority was gone. The employees have long been on David's side waiting for the opportunity to strike.

"Let's leave this place, Mom. I have no attachment whatsoever to this place after all. Because life was like here." she eagerly said to convinced her mother to move.

" Then, what about your dad...?" puffy and red eyes.

"Having no father is better than having one like him." Affection never existed between them. As she was always against her father.

" Then it would seem like we were running away because we did something wrong." truly Maple loved the man and it was hard for her to let go.

" Mom, you don't get it. Dad took everything because he knows how naive you are. Because you're too kind and understanding that he had the audacity to steal and take your things."

Maple decided to move on for her daughter's sake with revenge in mind. She's not letting things go their way. She must get back everything. With that they left the city to seek her parents help.
