Intuition of The Viper

I used to be a normal boy with a regular body and eyes. But now, I have an artificial eyeball. My arms and legs have been replaced with robotic parts to turn me into the ultimate crime-fighting weapon.

While Andre is practicing his striking in the basement, Agent Radford comes down to tell him something. Mr. Radford has been his assigned guardian and mentor ever since Andre agreed to work for the FBI. That was 2 years ago. And now, his very first mission approaches.

Agent Radford: “Andre, we have a meeting to attend. I was notified by Detective Baehler that a new member will be added to our mission squad. The meeting will take place at headquarters in the dining area for brunch.”

Andre: “Got it”

When Andre and Mr. Radford get to the dining area they see Mr. Baehler rited a blonde-haired girl with pigtails and brown eyes. She looked around the same age as Andre.

“ Pleasure to meet you both.” The girl says as she extends her arm for a handshake. Her voice was a bit deeper than the average woman's.

“You too,” Andre and Mr. Radford say together.

They all shake hands and greet one another then sit down.

“ My name is Charlotte Valentine. I’m a second year. Before we start discussing the mission, I want to hear more about you guys. What's your life story?” She says.

Andre: “I don't think we'll have enough time for that”

Charlotte: “You can just give me a simple overview. I'll go first. I’m 19 years old. My Hometown is Rosedale. I was an orphan throughout my childhood. When I had finally aged out at the age of 18 I was recruited by Mrs. Ross and Detective Baehler. They took me under their wing and mentored me to become a secret agent. I still live with Mrs. Ross at her Mansion in Morningside Heights. Now it’s your turn.” She said pointing at Andre.

Andre: “ My hometown is Hunts Point. 2 years ago my house was bombed by criminals. My mom was killed in the bombing. My dad wasn’t at the house during the bombing but he went missing the day it happened and I haven't seen him since. My goal is to hunt down all of the criminal organizations in New York and make them pay.”

Charlotte: “ Wow, that's a heavy burden to carry,” she said in a sympathetic tone.

Mr. Radford: “ That's why we'll help make sure you achieve your goal. Right guys?”

Charlotte and Drew: “Right!”

Mr. Radford: “ I guess it's my turn. I’m a 39-year-old from Delaware but I have been living here for 22 years. I graduated from NYU.”

Charlotte: “ Nice, your turn detective.”

Detective Baehler: “ All right, My name is Drew, I'm from Brooklyn. I graduated from Temple. My goal is to have my International detective agency one day. And be known as the world’s best detective.”

Mr. Radford: “ Looks like someone’s quite ambitious ” he said with a slight grin.

Detective Baehler: “ Just wait and see… Anyway, time to go over the mission. I’ve gathered some Intel from an inside source stating a meeting between two gangs is gonna go down. The Mambas and Los Toros are meeting up in an abandoned building in Brownsville. We don’t know what they’re planning but whatever it is we cannot let it happen. The goal is to raid the building with no dilemmas. If they expect us to come, things could escalate to a full-on shootout. That is why I designed a plan to make sure we go undetected…

FBI HIT LIST #25: THE MAMBAS

The Mambas are a notorious NY gang that is believed to have originated in Brooklyn. They are fairly new but were growing in population until 37 of their members were arrested and convicted of armed robbery in 2047. Their leader is known as Shadow Viper. Yet, we have no leads on his identity or the gang's current location.

FBI HIT LIST #68 : LOS TOROS

The Los Toros are a new minor gang that is believed to be located in Haverstraw. They have been suspected of being connected to multiple crimes and cases within that area. As of now, they may be currently working with the mambas.

Date: October 23rd 2209

Location: Abandoned Building in Brownsville NY

Time: 12:45 AM

Pedro Gonzalez; El Toros second command: “ Ayo! What the **** is taking him so long! It's been 30 min -”

Faruq Johnson; The Mambas Vice-captain: “-Watch your fuckin mouth!” he says, interrupting Pedro.

Pedro Gonzalez; El Toros second command: “ You talkin to me Motherfucker?!”

Faruq Johnson; The Mambas Vice-captain: “Fuck yeah, *****!”

Pedro reaches for his gun in his jacket pocket.

REY TORO; Leader of Los Toros: “SILENCIO! Both of you!”

He puts his hand on his forehead as if he’s having a headache. The room goes quiet for a while. After this, he starts to calm down.

REY TORO; Leader of Los Toros: “Ima give your boss five more minutes then we’re leaving” he says to Faruq.

Faruq Johnson; The Mambas Vice-captain: “Fine by me” he says seemingly irritated.

Time: 12:16 AM (27 minutes ago)

Intended Destination: Abandoned Building in Brownsville NY.

The Leader of the Mambas, Shadow Viper, is currently on his way to the meeting site.

Shadow Viper: “When we’re almost there, slow down so I can scan the area.”

Omar; Security Guard: “Got it, boss”

Five minutes later, Omar notifies his boss that they are close to the meeting spot. He slows down the car for his boss to swiftly scan the building.

Shadow Viper: “Omar, drive past the building, I ain’t stepping foot in there.”

Omar; Security Guard: “You Sure?”

Shadow Viper: “Question me again Omar, and see what happens”

Omar; Security Guard: “Understood Sir.”

He drives past the building and leaves the area. Five minutes later his boss explains why he gave him those orders.

Shadow Viper: “Two people were on top of the roof watching the two people guarding the entrance below. It could be a planned ambush or a raid. Whatever it was, there was no way I’m taking any chances.

Omar; Security Guard: “What about and the others? Should I inform them?”

Shadow Viper: “No, I can't afford to take any risks at the moment. Sometimes you lose great men in a war. Nevertheless, I can’t afford this setback to prevent me from achieving my goal.”
