CHAPTER 1

I'm Ysa Yamashita, and it's been 3 years since our world turned into a fantasy-like game. For 3 years most of us cope with the situation. Those who are not fun with games live the same as before they choose to work in offices and shops live like nothing happened and continue what they left. Some choose to become like players who go hunt monsters to gain exp to level up, to gain money with the item and parts they get from it. Some choose to adapt to the environment and make things that are useful for the adventurers like making potions, weapons, and armor. I chose to become an adventurer for me it's like a dream come true but not in the way that I want this to happen to us because until now all of us don't know what happened and who did this.

As a loner in my past I am comfortable in hunting solo. As an adventurer that hunts solo you don't need to split your earnings with others but on the other side you can't hunt higher level monsters that drop good items and have high value parts as you will be concerned about your safety. Living in a game like life doesn't mean you can revive in a response area when your life drops to zero, the reality we are in is death is death as how it is in the past that doesn't change.

Today I'm planning on hunting in the forest and going deeper, I usually don't think about the worst scenario I will leave my mother in this world and I can't let that happen. I'm planning to go deeper for me to be able to buy supplies in the house and I need a new dagger, the dagger I'm using is dull already for using frequently.

The dagger have a brown wooden handle with yellowish blade a sign of being old having curve 3 holes in the upper part as a design this the dagger that my father left me before he dead I able to save money because I didn't buy my starting weapon cause I have this so thank you dad.

I'm here in the forest I can't explain how I feel every time I go inside it's just so magical and dangerous at the same time I start my hunt by killing slimes for now.

slimes are the weakest and easiest to kill in this forest, this is the easiest way to level up and gain money. I kill a lot of slime for my body to warm up, when I think my body is ready I walk deeper into the forest, as I venture deeper I accidentally cross paths with an armored humanoid  slime a mini boss in the forest.

This humanoid slime have blue colored body wearing a yellow armor with 3 gems on it, 1 in the center breast part and another 2 in the lower body of the armor, this slime has a shape of a head with out a face, 3 fingers in the right and tentacle like in the left, a snake like tale in the lower part of the body. And I think this will be a long hellish fight.

It's been hours of fights and I already used up my 5 bottle of small bottle potion, health potion is red in color.

This fight can't go longer I'm tired and don't have any potions left, in the past hours I found out that the gems in the armor is the weakness of the armored slime but it's not easy to broke it. the right hand is for short distance fight and the left is for long distance fight so it's not that easy to cut the distance to break the gems and I'm not that good at long distance fight yet and the left tentacle is used like a whip it's easy to deflect my dagger if I throw it. I'm catching my breath as I land from my previous attack, I already knew the attack pattern of this mini boss, I dash in my full speed thinking giving my all in this attack jump as it launches it's tale I used my skill air dash to create a foot hold in mid air to dodge it's second attacked using it's skill water blast using the right hand I used another air dash to blast off to the front blocking it's tentacle from the left using the my left dagger and use my passive skill speed throwing (a skill that enhance my weapon throwing) and it landed in the last gem on the armor.
