It’s been a week since Leo and Lisa started going for library. Their talks have improved, they even exchanged their numbers, met at coffee shops during weekend etc. Although the reason is just for work, at least they became buddies.

“Ahhh! We are finally done after a long week,” Lisa felt relaxed as she gave final touch for her project.

“Thanks a lot Leo, I didn’t think of completing this in time, you are indeed genius.“ can you tutor me these topics? Leo! Leo, Are you listening! Leo! HEY LEO!!!

Lisa yelled making Leo to come to his senses.

He’s been thinking of asking her out, but didn’t know, how and when.

“You looked lost. Is everything okay or do you want to ask something?” Lisa asked after noticing the sudden change in Leo's face.

“Lisa ....it’s like....do you ....wanna .....Leo loses his words, as he’s thinking about how she will react.

Before completing his sentence, he watched a pair of hands closing Lisa’s eyes, signing him, not to tell who that person is .

“Pumpkin! You should not tease me in public! “ Lisa removed those hands form her eyes and turned.

“Ivy! Aren’t you at your music festival! What’re you doing here ! “ Lisa asked

“Well....someone told me to pick her up, seems like she couldn’t remember that” Ivy mocked.

“Sorry..” Lisa words were inaudible.

(Ivy, Leo's classmate, but to Lisa, she is more than a close friend. She is blonde, with long black hair with brown highlights, pointed eyebrows and dark globe eyes, long eyelashes, small pointed nose and plump pink lips like an idol)

“Aww! No worry dear, If you are done, we can go or I’ll wait a little longer so that you can wrap it up soon.” Ivy told while pecking Lisa .

“Lisa....I’ll leave now, as there’s no work left .” Leo said making Lisa realise she’s at library and Leo’s still there!

“ Aren’t you taking about something!” Lisa asked

“Ah! Nothing, I’m about to say goodbye. Its getting late so we should better end this day here” Leo said and left without waiting for the response.

“Hey Leo! “ John called as he saw his friend walking out from the library with a saddened face.

“ You alright! Wanna explain anything to me !” John asked as he’s worried seeing his friend.

Leo told everything that has happened inside.

“ May be its just a platonic relationship! “ John made a hope to his friend

But it didn’t last many minutes, when his phone notification rang.

“ What, What’s the news ! John asked calmly.

“ Its Lisa, her post on IG. “ Leo showed the post of Lisa and Ivy.

They were pecking each other and the caption says: I don’t care about her past because she is my future.

It made john to shut his mouth, feeling bad for making hopes for his friend.

“ I didn’t thought she had a girlfriend, but I should root for her dare and courage.” John said with an amused look.

“You Okay chipmunk!” John worried as looked his friend.

“ I’m fine jo! It’s not like I’ve loved her, it’s just I wanted know her and see if we really meant for date , she already have one, so let’s end it here.” It isn’t painful jo, as they were no feelings involved. It’s just a little disappointment and we can get over with an iced Americano.” Leo smiled and he spread his palms asking for John's wallet.

The following days were particularly hectic for the school due to the conclusion of their final semester exams.

~evening of their graduation ceremony.........

“Finally, I’m graduated from high school.” John said as he leaned back on the bed.

"time really flies.” And yeah,we are leaving tomorrow, I’ve already booked train tickets for both of us. Leo added.
