The Hunter

Taking the road from the back of the camp, the team of five took the road going to the mining tunnels , they didnt stop until they got to there destination .

Some beasts tried to stop them but where taken care of by Miya.

There was a beast solder that could kill Shayan in a single hit , but Miya only needed two arrows to kill.

The beast was an agility type dire wolf , this type of beasts move in groups of five or more , there strength is in there numbers , they surround there prey to trap them and kill.

Even though they are weak individually , its extremely strong taking care of it using only two arrow shots is truly amazing , this shows just how powerful this girl is.

'This usually shy girl is truly terrifying when in a fight ,  better be on her good sides' thought  Shayan in his mind.

Nothing much happened in the road they had the food on the back of the horses.

They got to there destination by evening , got of there horses , they took off there stuff and set the horses lose .

These horses are trained by military tamers , they will go back to the camp on there own .

" We will setup camp here rest up and go in the morning " said the captain .

Setting up camp starting to prepare food , they killed a boar on the road , boar beasts are known for there tasty meat.

"Shayan and Miya you will be set as sentry , Shayan you will start first while Miya will rest for now and later she will come to take you place" declared the captain.

Harold was in charge of food cooking while Scarlet was sitting down near the fire to warm herself .

He cleaned and seasoned the boar to roast it on fire , while Shayan was stationed as sentry to lookout for anything that might happen , smelling the aroma of the meat he started to droll , his adams apple was going up and down.

'System, how do i obtain skill points?'

Asked Shayan in his mind , while looking around cautious of any movements.

Seeing the answer Shayan thought ' seems like the system doesn't know everything , then if that's so i have to wait and see Santa again'

While in thought he heard footsteps coming from behind himself , quickly hiding himself in the shadow of the tree.

Seing who it was he came out , he saw Scarlet coming over with a bowl of roasted hog .

Seeing Shayan coming out of the shadows she was a bit surprised at firs but then she relaxed.

Shayan said "hey sister scarlet what brings you here?"

Looking at him She said in a bit of cold vice " don't call me sister Scarlet is enough , anyways i brought you food eat it "

Seeing her coming forward and giving him the food he thanked her "thank you si... Scarlet , no sorry its not comfortable i will call you sister , thank you sister Scarlet"

"Do as you like " hearing him say that her voice became  a bit less cold " eat before it gets cold" saying that she turned around and left.

Seeing her back as she left Shayan went back into the shadows climbing  the tree finding a spot where he can see the surroundings well , sitting down enjoying his food , once finished he put bowel aside resuming his duty.

A while later , seeing some movement Shayan focused on where the movement was , its was a moon night so seeing was not too difficult , seeing that it was a normal mutated beast he relaxed a bit.

' To get skill points i need to kill beasts besides i can try my new swordsmanship skill ' Cheering himself up , he started to observe the beast  like an eagle observing its prey .

It was a normal dire wolf , twice the size of normal wolfs with creamy white fur sharp metallic black claws , the

dire wolf was going about its day its tail was wiggling a bit seems to be in a good mood.

Passing by a big tree , two green eyes glowing in the dark where observing the dire wolf , while about to pass the tree it stopped , starting to smell the ground it seemed to smell something it was about to bring his head up to look around .

Before the wolf had the opportunity to look around,from the shadows came a sword slashing the neck of the dire wolf from down slashing upward ( Upwards Slash).

The dire wolf didn't have the time to dodge,it was a direct hit to the neck .

The dire wolf fell to the side , trying to get back to see who attacked it to see that there was no one there .

When shayan hit the wolf directly he didn't attacked it again , he was not confident in fighting a creature almost as tall as him , so he was going for guerrilla warfare seeing the wound deep enough to see the bone he was surprised by the damaged he had caused .

' Its starting to heavily bleed it seems like i hit an artery , with a body this size it will most likely die in about a minute or so'

After successfully hitting it in a fatal spot , Shayan didn't attack anymore rather started observing the beast from the shadows , the wolf was cautiously looking left and right , it wanted to howl but a hoarse voice came out of its mouth'

Waiting for the beast losing more blood , the wolf started to slowdown feeling exhausted the dire wolf it was drunk loosing focus falling down a few times and getting up , but this time when he fell down it didn't get back up, but still alive.

Shayan jumped down from the tree going in front of the dire wolf , the dire wolf looked at him angrily but also looked pitifully trying to get up and run but it had lost too much blood , looking up seeing the human that did this it couldn't help but shiver.

" Sorry about that , here let me finish your suffering " Shayan came forth about to finish it of but the dire wolf sent a claw his way , it was faking weakness , Shayan could only use the sword to protect himself , but the strong attack didn't came as strong as he thought , he only took a step back to completely absorb the attack.

'Hooh that scared the hell out of me ' he came forward again and gave it the finishing blow the dire wolf died.

While this was happening , from not too far away in the shadows someone was observing him, it said in a surprised voice " hiding your skills huh , seems like me being worried was unnecessary " the shadow said then disappearing.

[Beep]

Shayan felt a warm current of energy traveling in his body strengthening his bones and muscles .

After a few seconds he warm current stopped .

Of course this wasn't his first time killing an animal he has gone hunting in his past life with his family , ' ah man  i hope they had a good life , i wonder if my little sister made it i really miss that little devil , NO i know they made it and had a good life'

Waking up from his torpor he started to clean the place up , blood attracts animals , especially so at night.
