Man.. And that's the last of it.. I am finally done with the luggage, two years in this damn hostel then I'll be out as a doctor..

 Next day.. Climbing the stairs

The exams ended and Anne got selected in one of the best medical colleges obviously Max went to the same college with her..

Another spring passed.. And winter came

"Students we usually don't allow 2nd year

Students to do field work but since we are short on doctors some of you will be joining them ... As you all know there is political instability going on ....so there's a Bomb blast in Bateson town ...so we have to try our best to help the people in need.."

"Silence!! There is no need to worry you won't be alone ,there will be soldiers helping you ... The names of the students who will be going are on the signboard ... we will be leaving 3 days so be ready with your bags."

"Anne !! huff ... Anne your name's on the board let's go to the principal to talk about it ..."

"Max calm down, What's the problem ...anyway some of us have to go right? Why can't it be me.."

"Why should it be you ... it's dangerous Anne I won't allow it..."

"What ,why are you so against it.. Besides people are dying ,I have to go..."

Anne leaves in a rage

"Anne please... Anne ...please....don't go...(sobbing) it's dangerous...."

Max tried a lot but neither he was allowed to go nor Anne agreed to stay.

And finally the day came when she was leaving..

Max was standing in a corner afraid he would cry seeing her leave...

"Max ....Max look at me ....Max ...don't want to see me huh !!.. Nice at least let me see your face one last time who knows whether I'll get the chan...(Max blocks her mouth sobbing)

Anne wiped her tears..

"Dummy why are you crying.... I was just joking ...It's not like I am going to war. ..

 "Don't you joke about your death again ....I can't lose you...I just can't..." crying..

" Ok..ok.. Now don't be such a baby.. I promise I will return to you safe and sound ok..."

"You have to ...cause when you return I have something very important to tell you.."

"Really !! Sure babe ..now don't you dare cry ok ...Byee..."

Anne walks away...

"Anne!!"

Max hugs her from behind

"don't turn around cause if I see your face i would not be able to send you away ... But Anne do remember whatever happens I'll always be there for you..."

"Ok silly..."
