[Hidden Quest activated! Quest, ‘Divine Key of the World's Core’ has initiated for the whole party.]
[Quest Details]
The Earth has long been sealed away from the Three Realms after the War between Realms millions of years ago. But recently, the world's core, which was used as the essence of the seal has started to show signs of activations that will no doubt result in the seal broken away. The last descendants who held onto and took care of 'The Key' to the world's core are now being targeted by those who seek to break the seal and the war. Being the first to have stumbled upon and aided them, you have been given a big quest of holding onto the key and find the world's core in order to protect it and seal the key from the Seal Breakers.
[Quest Requirements #1]
Listen to the descendants as they tell the story of the war and the seal in order to find a clue on where the world's core is.
Ren
Ha. What have I gotten myself involved to…?
Diluv
...who was it that suggested we help these old folks…?!
Ren
Can we not just abandon the quest if we can't refuse it?
Cyan
According to my analysis, 87% of the times players intended on abandoning a quest, the quest dealers would bug them to complete it until they did or cancelled it at the Quests Dealer Organization.
Diluv
Talk about a living Wikipedia.
Ren
This is why I hate hidden quests. Even the quest dealers can't cancel them, do they?
Cyan
Indeed you are correct, Ren.
Diluv
What kinda ******* hidden quest involved the whole world?
Diluv
They literally said the world is doomed if the seal is broken.
Ren
It's like the world's fate is in our hands now.
Ginr
There, there. Cool down your muscles, chicks.
Ginr
It can't be that bad, can it?
Diluv
Shut up, you scoundrel.
Ether
There's no use fighting on it.
Ether
We just gotta do the quest now or else the quest dealers would come bugging every moment they could.
Ginr
He's right. Though I'd like to question the fairness on the dealers' side bugging us to complete a quest they cannot cancel.
Cyan
Since the quests are AI-generated, if it is not completed, it would cause a little disturbance in the system and database and would result in no quests being generated for some moments if it got worse.
Ginr
Try not to be a Wikipedia, Cyan. Peasants' calling me 'the wiki's bro' nowadays.
Diluv
I'm surprised you could say that with a smile, Ginr. I'd have burst out on her if I were you.
Ginr
Now, what kind of brother would do that to his dear lil' sister? Right, Cyan?
Ren
That looks happy-go-lucky to me.
Diluv
Speak to yourself, shithead.
Ether
So, are we gonna do this quest or not?
Diluv
Do we have a choice?
Quest Dealer
Indeed you don't.
Diluv
******* shit since WHEN have you been stalking us, you creep?!
Quest Dealer
Since the quest started. It is my job to make sure quests will be done, after all.
Diluv hisses with a sharp glare on the quest dealer's face.
Ren
Wait, does that mean you heard everything we said just now..?
Quest Dealer
Yes, indeed. I am hurt to hear you say we are bugging you when it is our job but I am okay, you don't have to worry about my feelings.
Diluv
...no one said they did.
Ren
I know right? This crepe's a crepe.
Diluv
It's creep by the way.
Ginr
Please do not mind these stupid lil' chicken eggs, mister.
Ginr
We will do the quest, no worries.
Quest Dealer
I am comforted. Well then, I shall head away now. But I will return if the quest is not touched.
Quest Dealer
My dearest farewell for now.
Ether
Well, let's go hear what the ancestors have to say then.
Ren
Aight, lesgo, scumbags. No 'scuses.
Diluv
Traitor! Glutton! Blockhead!
Diluv keep spouting curses as he chased after Ren who went ahead on his own after hearing about foods.
The others belatedly joined them in heading back to the quest place after some head-shaking and sighs.
= Timeskip : After the story was told, they were given rooms to sleep in before starting the second quest requirements. =
[Quest Requirements #2]
Figure out the clues that are included in the story that was told.
Diluv
Lemme guess, you ate a black hole? You're never full.
Diluv
It was a total feast back there and you ate the most too.
Ren
That was mains. They didn't give us any desserts for side.
Ginr
I brought rice crackers, kids. They gave us something for midnight snacks.
Ginr who just came back into the room put a plate of rice crackers on the floor. The whole group then sit in a circle around the plate.
Diluv
Whoa, I haven't eaten this in ages.
Ren
You could be useful, Ginr. I thought only your sis is useful.
Ginr
Cyan, do you know any simple way of killing someone?
Cyan
There are approximately 21 ways of doing so in our current situation. Do you want me to explain all of them?
Diluv
BAHAGAHAHAHA! YOU'RE EMBARRASSING YOURSELF, YOU FISH-HEAD!
Ether
We have to find the clues to progress in the quest.
While Ginr and Ren were having a childish fight, Diluv and Cyan shift their focus on Ether.
Diluv
You mean, right now? I'm sleepy after eating so much...
Ether
It's better to do it right now. If we delay it, we might forget what the descendants told us.
Diluv
Well, I guess you're right but man...
Diluv makes a funny face as he tried to forcefully stop a yawn only to fail a bit later.
Diluv
Ugh...I could really use a nap right now.
Ginr
So, did you figure anything out, smarty-pants Ether Flash?
Ren
......freak. I'm gonna take your share of crackers.
Diluv
Enough, you immature blockheads.
Ether
Well, for your question, I do have a few theories.
Ginr
Theories already? Let's discuss the clues first.
Diluv
Why not go straight for the head?
Ginr
So we could understand better. You need to hold the body before striking the head of a nail for it to stand properly.
Ren
What a lame-*** metaphor.
Ginr
Cyan, explain three of the simplest way of killing right now.
