Episode 4

From what I glean from that novel, which I read many years ago when I was still a student, you can imagine how long ago that was.

Well, it turns out that Sol is the villain of the novel because when her father returns from the war, he comes back with a woman and a young girl, who turn out to be her father's new partner and his new daughter. Sol cannot accept this and assaults her stepsister. This, of course, causes problems with the duke, who sides with his new family.

This is not to say that her relationship with her father before this event was different or like others I read, where the father dotes on and loves his daughter excessively. In the novel, the duke is simply indifferent to her. He does not treat her badly, but not well either.

In the novel, the duke seeks his daughter's betrothal to the prince, not like in my vision where it was love at first sight between them, even though it didn't end well, this was very convenient for the king, who quickly agreed.

Even though the visions Sol gave me of her life did not mention it, the novel does. Her father was the richest duke with the second most powerful army, as they had special powers.

The strongest army was the emperor's, followed by his, then two more armies from other kingdoms (of the same empire), and then the king's army of the kingdom where they lived. Let's just say the king used the duke for protection, as his own army was no match for the duke's. In addition, the duke's training regimen was far tougher and more rigorous.

Returning to the novel, on the day of her coming of age or presentation, she fell in love at first sight with the crown prince. She was happy to be reciprocated, but what she didn't know was that it was an arranged engagement.

Still, the prince gladly accepted the engagement, knowing how important the duke's support was for the kingdom.

He began to frequent Sol's home, as he had to visit his betrothed, and that's how he met her sister. In the novel, according to it, they had not met since Sandra was a year younger than Sol and had not yet been presented to society.

This had nothing to do with the vision I had of Sol's life, but well.

When the prince was in the duchy, Sol treated Sandra well, but when he left, everything was different. Until one day the prince returned because he forgot to tell Sol something and saw her being cruel to Sandra.

This caused the prince to distance himself from Sol and begin a friendship with Sandra.

Of course, this caused Sol to become upset and her jealousy to flare up.

In society, Sol was considered a good girl and highly sought after, as she would be the future queen, so everyone wanted to be around her.

It was then that she spread a rumor that her sister had a dubious reputation because she liked to flirt with others' betrothed. This rumor was also spread by her maids, as it was the fastest way to spread gossip.

The other women got what Sol meant, so they did not hesitate to spread that information further and of course to look down on Sandra.

Unfortunately, instead of driving the prince and his sister apart, it brought them closer to the extent that they ended up spending a night of passion. Right after a terrible day for Sandra, after so much crying and being consoled by the prince, they succumbed to their desires.

_Bah! All nonsense to justify the infidelity of the so-called betrothed and his supposed sister. Continuing on.

The prince had to take responsibility as he had deflowered Sandra. Yet, he couldn't give Sandra the status of fiancee - the king wouldn't allow it since Sandra was not the duke's blood daughter, so the king wouldn't risk the duke's relationship with the new duchess ending and his support becoming uncertain.

The worst came at that time when Sol found out and couldn't bear that her betrothed had cheated on her.

Sol attacked Sandra that same day and humiliated her as much as she could. She didn't care if she was seen or not, in the end many supported her, as the behavior of both her and the prince was frowned upon.

Weeks went by and with them a month, during which they realized that Sandra was pregnant. That baby couldn't be born out of wedlock; it was the prince's child, his firstborn. It would also be a disgrace for the duke if his daughter had a child out of wedlock, or worse, an unacknowledged child.

At this, the duke requested a change in bride, not wanting his name to be tainted since after all, that young woman had become his daughter.

Without a doubt, this was a tough blow to Sol's pride and heart. She was in love with the prince, it wasn't fair to her that now that woman would take away her betrothed as well. She had already taken away the little attention of her father, playing the victim all the time before him.

By that time, the emperor's son had arrived in the kingdom; his father had sent him to each of the kingdoms because soon he would take the emperor's place and needed to know his territory well.

That's where he met Sol and fell in love with her, but she was in love with the prince, at that time still engaged to the idiot prince, so he didn't insist on his courtship and left. A few days later, Sol's engagement was broken off and her heart was wounded.

Sol couldn't stand the humiliation and the pitying looks of everyone. So on the day of the presentation of the heir princess and the marriage, she pushed her from the stairs in full view of all.

Sandra rolled down to the last step under everyone's watchful eye. When she landed on the last step, blood began to flow from beneath her skirt. She had lost her pregnancy.

Sol simply turned around and went back to the duchy, knowing what was coming.

_ Now, my question is whether Sol really pushed Sandra, for that reason, I didn't see the cause of her execution in the visions?

Maybe things did not happen that way, if I learned anything between what Sol showed me and what I read, it is that things are not always what they seem. That Sandra and her mother are vixens.

I can't tell if she did it or not, but I know what's going to happen so they can't fool me, they won't be able to deceive me.

What followed was Sol's execution for the murder of the prince's unborn child and the attempt on the life of the heir princess.

The duke could do nothing, as his daughter had done it in front of everyone, so he simply let it happen even though at that moment he felt pain in his chest, perhaps if he hadn't requested the change of fiancee none of this would have happened.

_You miserable wretch, how you lament now, but how you ignored your only daughter, your own flesh and blood from your true love.

Certainly a ghastly story, if you were going to kill her, you should have done it quietly or caused a miscarriage. In the end, her so-called sister turned out to be a true whore for getting involved with her betrothed.

You know what I think, that bitch threw herself down the stairs to frame Sol, otherwise I can't see why Magnolia and Rosita cried and screamed she was innocent. Thinking badly, maybe that baby wasn't even the prince's, so it had to go. Ha, if I've read plenty of novels and the Mexican ones have the most absurd drama.

Also, the protagonist didn't seem like a protagonist; who would innocently get involved with someone else's betrothed unless it was convenient? Even in the novel, the protagonist stood out for nothing more than getting involved with another's promised under the guise of true love. Nonsense.

Love above all else, especially when trampling over others.
