Chapter 3 • Blinded by kindness

The guy who just came by a request just had arrive with neat and fresh looks. I believe he comes for further details and discussion. Well, I believe I came in the right time as well. It could be different story if i was late, probably. Anyway, good to see him early. Might he got no time soon or later.

“Is, the store still in preparation?” He asked.

”Don’t worry, please come in and have a seat.” Seung-Soo initiate and quickly response to him. Made him way to the table as he leads to me.

“Do you fancy a tea?” The guy shakes his head as he’s fine without any service.

”Oh, no! I’m fine. Thank you, much appreciated.” Seung-Soo smiles and leaves both of us to getting start the thing off.

Befote we ahead to discuss, he manage to take out some kind of detailed bouquet he really want to have. The one shows were pink rose flowers, red roses wedding bouquet, florist pastel flowers, and Ectevia whole flowers. These kind of choices aren’t common and easy to make or even get those to order. But, things will gets easier if i could make a advance call to the florist. Probably, this’s my conclusion. It may not seem good idea, but it’s the best way for now.

“So, what do you think? Could you make it 2 weeks from now?” He says.

”2 weeks should be more than enough. We’re uncertain with the stocks. But as long as we able to get and keep in touch with our current market conditions, we will fulfill all demands at once faster.” Though, judging with his looks. He may seems excited but i could tell he actually worried. I mean, i didn’t mean to imply that i couldn’t do the best effort. But, things aren’t instantly apparent and done in second or under short period. Hope he understands how a business work due to his current circumstances.

”Speaking of which, may i ask for the whole receipt?”

”Oh, please hang on for a minute. I’ll be right back with your receipt.” As i leave the desk, I immediately visit the manager room due to personal requests and out of common order. I seek out first for the list. Honestly, It’s always difficult to find a good numbers when counting the total. Mr. Han told me once but hardly to catch up. Either for Mr. Yoon. Both are great on explaning, of course, the problem is me.

About ten minutes past, I made a final receipt and as I printed out, I heard a bit loud noises on the outside. What’s exactly happen now? I should check it out now. So, I rolled myself out from the room, and as soon as I sees the scene. Seung-Soo and The Guy stand right in front of entrance. What now? Another issue and occurence? How possible to get scandal one after another?! Sigh. This’s harder than i thought.

While I’m still wondering, Seung-Soo ask me to stay where i was even he ask me to get back inside the room. I mean, why? I can’t see anything out there and he didn’t let me know at first. Can he just shout what’s going on first?!

“It’s not safe for you. Get back into the room.”

”What do you mean by not safe?” I raise my voice a bit.

”It’s the best choice for now, Mr. kang.” The Guy was also gently asking me to get back into the room. But since both of them were on the same page, i’ll just listen to them. I won’t argue anymore. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t like fighting or arguing something that doesn’t make sense. So, it’s better tl listen and perhaps try to lower myself down. Their intention were to make me safe anyway. So, it’s must be it.

After closing the door, i begin to think about the possibility of what happen. First, it might still concerns and relates to yesterday’s accident. I believe there were several reporters are arriving on late hours after the incidents. Even i saw some people on internet are talking a hot issue where i couldn’t confirm myself if they were referring to the incident. Second of all, it may lead and take more people on investigation. Some are police may put this case and red light situation. And due to Ye-Na, whose name herself as the culprit. So police my begin their search. The rest were unsure, yet why do i feel so uneasy? Is it because today feel more than ever? O mean, a crowds on my apartment. A sudden appearance of Mr. Lee. And now this? What kind of hell am i step in now? Seriously, I’m already this tired.

I try to sneak out from the window, but unfortunately. I couldn’t see anything at all. What if I—

suddenly, my phone ringing as I receive a call. It was Mr. Lee so immediately tap on green button.

”Are you okay?”

”Ah, Mr. Lee. Yeah, i’m in room— wait. How Mr. Lee know that the shop is currently on unstable?”

”He’s one of my body guard, Goo Han-Jun.” ah, finally i know the guy’s name. Goo Han-Jun eh. I wasn’t pay attention yesterday. Or he hasn’t tell his name yet? I don’t recall anything though.

“He reported me. That your shop been rioted”

”Riot? But i don’t see anyone out here.”

”are you in room?”

”Yes. Both Seung-Soo and Mr. Goo asked me to stay in the room.” I heard a reliefs sound on the phone call. Is he doing that on purpose?

”glad they’re prioritizing your safety.”

”but, can you tell me what’s exactly going on?”

“Someone spreading a rumor that either Mr. Han or Mr. Yoon was accused for taking granted to kill a person. By exploiting their employees.” After hearing of what he says, my mind immediately goes to think to one person whom I recognize most. Choi Ye-Na. I mean, is she? She’s the one who controls these incident? But, why? She confessed me that she was the one who put all these misery. But now? Is she making a own scene?

“I’m sorry. But Mr. Han or Mr. Yoon would never have such evil intentions to rule their employees.”

”It may be true. But this person, gave the police several surveillance and tapes to the police. Or I could say, a fact files as a prove.” Wow. . . I never had such experience like this before. Hang on a second. I just realize something.

Choi Ye-Na might be right or wrong. But, risking her own life to switch up some intetions and scenes could lead a truth and hidden meanings. Ye-Na may saw whatever he sees back then. When nonems ever know what’s exactly happen. So he decide to continue of what he want to play with. If i ever allow to say this, Kindness has finally close their final chapter, and continue to be yourself. Well, sound too emotional..

“I have no anything to say. But i do hope for better vibe soon.

”Me too. Anyway, stay where ever you’re. I’m back to you.” Okay— wait. WHAT?! Why is he coming back to the shop? Therr are riots and he still insists to come?! He may get hurt.

”Mr. Lee! You don’t have to—“ He cuts the phone call and leaves me on question marks. This is WAY more complicated than i thought. Everything seems hasn’t worked out well. The process is also gradually closing. Sigh. I’m burnt out honestly. Can i just skip and continue my life. Well I mean— duh.

I just still can’t believe of what just happen today. Imagine that you’re living alone then are problematic. Which alwahs drag your shoes on their business matter or event unnecessary case. Oh well, life is life. I hope they able to manage their placement.

I don’t know what to do while waiting. But i’m pretty sure if Mr. Lee stop by the behind curtain of the room. Is it me or i feel like, my face is getting red after thinking about him? Like, i became potate and be extremely shy. Sigh. Enigma is everywhere. Will this enigma comes to an end? It must.

Following 20 minutes later. The riot is getting louder and become massive. This wouldn’t do. I should at least do something likewise. But how? And what should i do? I— my phone back to ringing. this time, Mr. Lee tell me to get myself out from the back. I tilt my head until Mr. Goo come to myroom to take me away.

When the backdoor opened, there’s a sport car awaits and Mr. Lee was inside while waiting. He comes out from the car, help me to get inside wnd leaving a good detail.

“We will leave the place in quiet.” It was really on my ear. My face turns red immediately and just like tomato does.
