Chapter 2 • Flower up your day

Its new day, and new fresh morning. I’ve had enough sleep thanks to Seung-Soo who took me home safely last night. Although. . . I’ve lost someone who i admired and cherished. Choi Ye-Na. She probably get herself ready for facing reality. I hope either police nor the court would give some best option of what she had done. For everything what will happen, she deserve and it is what it is. Hopes any goodluck and may she continue her life well. That’s my last wishes. Anyway, back to the track.

So today, I have upcoming projects and deadlines. Which is should bound one bouquet from RT Company and Hong-Joon’s Online order. Well, hopefully it could be done by today. Otherwise, I could mess everything on the massive one. I mean, no! I won’t let that happen! Sigh, seriously, it giving such bad vibes when reaching something that i shouldn’t think of. Yet, Seung-Soo gives me his hands to finish the work. Oh my, speaking of employee. Do we have new recruits soon? I mean, last night. Mr. Yoon back by himself and return with such guilt expression. I know it must be hard for him. What about Mr. Han though? I don’t see he was tagged along.

Mr. Yoon extremely disappointed and upset that night. He never thought Ye-Na could ended like this. He was thinking about the Shop reputation, but she promises it will not affect the shop and the people inside. Mr. Yoon seems convinced anyway. Of course, i think, every single person will get disappointed to their beloved employee when they suddenly made such huge mess or sending themself in trouble. So i do understand why Mr. Yoon are completely out of his mind. Hope he didn’t go crazy in addition. It’d be more problematic if he does.

Anyway, so as the brand new day. I would start everything fresh and slowly. I know, it mau cause more than I expected but hey. At least i’m doing on my own. I’ve been living well than ever. It’s feel like i’m back to the track and sure enough. Yet. . . Missing my family wasn’t bad at all. I miss when they were together. The one who always wanted to see me everyday. Share memories, even take journey together. But i think, past is in the past now. I would love to have it back, yet again. I think, i should pretty more thankful of what I’ve become now. Sure did.

“Oh, i’m running a bit late.” It’s already 7:30 AM. I usually take public transport. However, seems I’m a bit late today, i’m going to grab some call for taxi. I can’t help myself get it though, but I’m sure i’ll get some help to.

After i put my things to bag, I immediately leave the apartment, and head to the lobby as soon as possible. The lift didn’t take too long, as it arrive on my floor, I tap on lobby destination.

After hitting on lobby, the crowd suddenly appears and surrounded by people. I mean, what just actually happened? Why do i have so many people on lobby?! Is there a problem? I can’t see anything but these body! Perhaps i should try make an excuse so people could give me a way out of here. Cause duh, i’m already this late!

As i sneakily to get the way, people keep getting hudled one after another which made me harder tk get the pathway. I try to shout out, but they won’t listen to me. WHAT’S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!?!? CAN YOU GUYS JUST GO—

Everyone suddenly made a pause and silence has begin. People starring at the door as i see. They look mesmerize but somehow more likely hipnotized. What’s going on now? People seriously need to het their act back. It’s confusing.

As i being confused and wondered how to get out, some guys making a huge way as they make the people to move out. They made them to step back for some reason. It indeed opens the way where i was now. Like, uh, okay? This is odd and unusual. And seems like i was a king? This is completely weird. Even theh starred at me. What’s with this atmosphere?! Sigh, since i have the way, i should immediately go—

“This way.” A guy approach me with gentle care. He pushes me heading to the car that parked right infront of the lobby. I couldn’t see clearly his face but, he looked distinguished? Or sort of. Importantly, he really being careful on the way he drag me though. As soon he dragged me along, another guy opens the door, continue to help me to get into the car. They wearing glasses for reason. Why do i keep getting this feeling though. Am i getting kidnap?

Not only being more than confused, I literally no idea whose car is this and where the heck am i taken to. Following second later, the guy who dragged me gets into the car as he drive the car. He step into the gas slowly, and leaves my residence and the crowds.

Sigh, first of all. I’m gratefully for getting out of that situation where i couldn’t even understand how kt happens. Second of all, i’m totally being kidnap now. He still wearing that glass and didn’t say anything further! Only ‘This way’ yeah i mean, what way for now!? Ugh, i swear. Wait, should i use my phone now? I mean. . . In silence.

“No need to call police. I ain’t bad guy.” He slips his words as he smiles. erk, how creepy this guy.

”T- Then. . . Where did you take me to?”

”Your workplace, of course.” Hang on, my work? But, how did he know where I was work at? Is he a stalker? Isn’t the same thing as kidnapper? Wait, why do i feel i’m in my nightmare now?

“You, didn’t recognize me?” Suddenly, he jumped into conclusions.

”Pardon me?”

”Is it hard to remember who i was?”

”I’m sorry, but i don’t really know you.” He responds with little crack and chuckles. What’s wrong with that? Did he actually my acquaintance? But how i can’t remember at all?

“I think, i should take this off.” As he drive the car, be finally puts down the glass. The way he look at me after, I feel like i just drop my jawhead like i was about to lose it. It’s Mr. Lee.

“M- M- M- Mr. Lee! I- I’m Sorry!!” I quickly to apologize to him. THIS IS MORE THAN I ANTICIPATED! THIS DAY WAS SUCH A DOOM!

“Haha! It’s alright. I understand you. You must be confused.”

”B-But, Mr. Lee’s sudden appearance is quite unusual. And you seems avoiding the public.”

”always do.”

”May i ask why?” He made a little pause before he answer me. Also, he make the car a little on slow pace.

“My private life won’t affect my work life. So being professional is important. Also image.” He added a wink on me. Well. . . That’s how confident he is to say? I mean. . . Whatever.

“I see. Mr. Lee, about yesterday.” I was about to mention yesterday accident. But he immediately cuts the words.

”It’s alright. It won’t be a whole scene.” Ah, i guess he really manage it till the end. Perhaps, he already know the culprit. He must knows everything as he looks. If it’s the best to slide it, i guess that’s what the best for.

“I’m sorry.” He tilt his heads as he look at me.

”Why you sorry for?”

”If i able to prevent the whole situation, you won’t be—“

”You seems pretty worried about me, aren’t you?” First of all, how confident he is to say that?! I was about to say that I could prevent all the things that may caused troubles! I never have anything or thought of worrying about him on the first place! How dare him!!

“Th- That’s also a part.” I can’t lie. My lips does recat by it own. How fool i am.

”Haha, I’m alright. Though, It made me out of work for few days.”

”Oh? Are you injured somewhere?”

”It’s not. But rehabilitation.” Right. He needs that at most. After consuming drugs that he didn’t know. He must put on bedrest for days or even weeks. Cause what i know is, it may lead him on worst case if there any kind of medical insurance and check up for business purposes. So I could understand why. Yet, i still feel bad for that. He’s important persom in this country. His company is of the most successful business ever. Sigh, i really hope i could rewind the time.

“Cheer up. Don’t give me frowns.” He chuckles as he see me frowing while thinking the bad. I mean, he really pay attention to how expressive i am.

”Hope you get better soon, Mr. Lee.” With smiles, he quickly respond me with a nod and back to the track.

After some quite awhile on the road, the clock already ticks on the time where i should get to work. Luckily, even i had so much troubles this morning. With Mr. Lee huge helps, i could arrive at my work safely and punctually. He parked right infront of the store and get to help me out. He carry me like princess as i look at him, i can tell he really that handsome. Wait. . . What did i just say?!?!?!?

“I’ll pick you up on closing hour. Don’t get anywhere, okay?” Eh? What’s with the sudden? He didn’t have to pick me as he take me here!

“A- Ah no! Mr. Lee i’m fine! This is more than enough and i can’t thank you yet!”

”You can save your thank you. I’ll see you later okay.” He insisted at the end. He winked at me again, and soom gets back to the car. He waves at me as he leaves soon. Sigh, I’m really, really, and extremely confused today. It’s just in morning. Anyway, let’s get going.

After I get my fingerprints and set myself in clothes, I head back door was open and it’s Seung-Soo. He looks terrible though. Both of his shirt and pants are torns. Is he even okay?

“Seung-Soo? What happen to you?”

”I just got into fight with the gangter.”

“God lord, are you really okay?! Did they hit you? Did you call the police?”

”it settled. A random bunch of kids appeared and helped me right away.” Sigh, i’m so glad to hear that. If the kids weren’t there, Seung-Soo might be passed out there and nowhere to be found. How fortunate. Really.

He changes his clothes and I can see his bruise on wrist and lower thigh. I bet it hurts, but i can’t say loudly. I feel sad whenever someone got through lot or fight. It’s like watching someone suffering without shouting for a help. Speaking of suffer, i should be the one who called as dump. I was the one who struggled anyway.

We leaves the staff room and we continue to prepare while open the store. I started to arrange the bouquet and flowers. While Seung-Soo cleaning the dust out with sweep the floors. We always spare anything that we could do. As long as a team work, it should done easier and faster.

It minutes later, the door bell ringing, as we greets them welcome, we have our first customer comes in. When i look at them, it is not other than the guh who requested the whole bouquet by yesterday. He came with massive smile and good vibes.
