The scene shifts to an area where there are many people gathered. The man abruptly said to Jin Guan as the two of them were passing through the crowd as it seems like an adoption center

Suddenly, an elderly lady approaches them, bowed down in front of them, and speaks in an elderly yet polite voice.

Greetings, Jin Guan, low-level concubine.

Using the telepathy spell and invisble spell on himself, which allows the two of them to freely communicate in their minds, the man mockingly spoke to her in her head. Jin Guan was enraged and spoke in a threatening tone.

The man was furious that Jin Guan had threatened him, but he refrained from speaking. The elderly woman gently raised her head and asked in a curious voice.

The elderly lady shoved Yunxiao, not worrying if he fell and get injuried. The elderly woman's voice was happy but uneasy as she spoke.

Jin Guan caught Yunxiao just in time before he could tumble to the ground and pull him close to her body before yelling angrily at the elderly lady.

Jin Guan, Yunxiao, and the man turned their backs on the old lady, and Jin Guan called to her guards who were nearby.

The three of them went away as the old lady screamed and begged Jin Guan to forgive her. Yunxiao was staring at Jin Guan while walking away, and Jin Guan notice this and asked Yunxiao.
Jin Guan
What's the matter? Feeling sorry for her?
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
No..... No.
Narrator (Author)
Jin Guan touched Yunxiao's hair and said to him in a caring tone.
Jin Guan

Tears of joy raced down Yunxiao's face as he ran to his room to pack all of his belongings. The man deactivated his invisible magic and talked in a carefree tone.

There was complete silence between them. The man spoke again after 2 minutes, but this time he stared Jin Guan in the eyes with serious and melancholy eyes. He leaned in close while looking at Jin Guan's face and murmured in her ear.

Jin Guan was stunned then spoke in a shocked tone.

The man did not respond but only looked at her calmly. Jin Guan glanced into his eyes and saw them gloomy, but she could see a hint of grief in them but he's not showing it. There was silence between them until the man burst out laughing in a mocking tone backing away from her ear giving distance between them.
Unknown Man
Pfft! I can't believe you fell for it! Your expression was wonderful; you should have seen yourself in the mirror! Hahaha!
Jin Guan
You shouldn't be joking around like that!
Unknown Man
Jeez! I was simply bored since nothing was getting interesting. Anyway, what's next?
Narrator (Author)
Jin Guan looked at him suspicious as she begun to think in her thoughts
Jin Guan
(Thoughts): He's trying to change the subject matter, I see. Can he actually see into the future? I'm not sure, but I'm determined to find out. But for now, I'll let him change the subject matter.
Jin Guan
We will now move on to phase two since the goal of phase one was to adopt a prince, which was achieved.
Jin Guan
To inform Kang Huan that I have now adopted a prince.
Unknown Man

She was interrupted by him grabbing her hand, which made Jin Guan nervous and scared, but then she began to hear the man chanting a spell in a language she didn't understand, and suddenly there was an enchanted circle around them, but then they both vanished into thin air and teleported to Jianzhang Palace. Jin Guan was stunned, then looked at the man, who was now staring at her. Panickily, she asked the man.
Jin Guan
What were you thinking!?
Unknown Man
What was I thinking? I used my magic to teleport us to Jianzhang Palace as quickly as possible.
Jin Guan
I could see that, but did you consider that perhaps someone witnessed you performing your magic in public?
Unknown Man
I wouldn't be a magician if I couldn't follow a simple rule which is to not allow anyone other than the person with whom you made a contract to witness you perform magic in public.
Jin Guan
Oh well, I guess I was scared for nothing, Sir Magician.
Jin Guan
Umm... Anyways! Let us go check on the fourth prince, Sir-

My name is Guo Chen

(Thoughts): Why does that name sound familiar to me?
Guo Chen

The two of them began strolling together, which was awkward for Jin Guan, but she chose to play it cool so as not to make Guo Chen uncomfortable. As they walked about to find Yunxiao, they both heard someone chewing on meat, as if the person eating on it was really hungry. As they both glanced through a low split open door, they were surprised to find Yunxiao chewing a chicken leg vigorously on his left hand and using chopsticks to pick up some boneless chicken. They both just remained there watching him eat before Jin Guan muttered quietly to the man not to scare Yunxiao away.
Jin Guan
This poor kid. How long has he been hungry?
Guo Chen
I'm not sure, but he's been starving until now. This is how he dies from hunger.
Jin Guan
(Thoughts): Is this how people live nowadays? I've never been through anything like that, but I feel sorry for those who go hungry and dies as a result.
Narrator (Author)
As she thought more about it, she accidentally uttered her thoughts out of her mouth, and she smiled pleasantly as she did so.
Jin Guan
I understand now. Why don't I accompany him to a meal?
Guo Chen
Go to him if you wish.
Jin Guan
Did you read my thoughts?!
Guo Chen
I didn't read your thoughts; you said them out loud, you idiot.
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
Lady Jin Guan? Who is this person?

They both turned around to see Yunxiao, who is now standing in front of Jin Guan and Guo Chen. They were both taken aback by Yunxiao's silent approach in front of them, and Jin Guan asked Yunxiao in a worried but nervous tone.
Jin Guan
Yunxiao, how long have you been standing there?
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
When I heard you yelling at this person. I didn't listen to anything you two talked about. I apologize for interrupting your conversation with this person.
Jin Guan
No, you did not interrupt anything. Actually, I had just finished speaking with him.
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
Oh, really? Then I'll be returning to my room.
Narrator (Author)
Yunxiao turned his back on them both and began to walk away when Jin Guan called out to him.
Narrator (Author)
Yunxiao was startled as he turned around to face Jin Guan, then asked in a worried voice, believing that she would deduct his meals today twice a day.

Would you like me to join you to a meal?
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)

Yunxiao was surprised to hear a request from Jin Guan, so he said to Jin Guan.
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
I appreciate the offer, but I've already eaten.
Narrator (Author)
After finishing his sentence, he turned around and began to go toward his room when his stomach started to growl loudly. Guo Chen and Jin Guan looked at Yunxiao, who was now staring at them with his face all red in embarrassment, and Jin Guan giggled before saying to Yunxiao in an affectionate tone.
Jin Guan
Hehe, why don't we have dessert before you go to your room?
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
Eh? ~//////~ Umm okay.
Narrator (Author)
When Yunxiao said this, Jin Guan held out her hand gesturing him to take her hand as Yunxiao hesitated before taking her hand. Jin Guan then grabbed the door to open it before she could open the door Yunxiao asked Jin Guan in a concerned voice.
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
Is he going to accompany us to a meal, too?
Jin Guan
Oh umm... Yes, he will join us for dessert as well.
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
Oh okay.
Narrator (Author)
Guo Chen and Jin Guan were astonished to discover the table full with plates and bowls of finished chicken bones as well as empty and the servants cleaning the table as Jin Guan opened the door. When the servants saw Jin Guan, they bowed and said in a polite manner.
Servants/Maids
Greetings low-level concubine Lady Jin Guan.
Narrator (Author)
Guo Chen, who was speaking in a low voice but Jin Guan could easily hear him, he chuckled in satisfaction at hearing that.
Guo Chen
Pfft! Low-level concubine.
Jin Guan
(Mind): This man really has a death wish.

Prepare desserts for me, Yunxiao, and Sir Guo.
Servants/Maids
Okay Jin Guan.

As they were saying this, some of the servants went to the kitchen, and the other servants were cleaning the table. The three of them then went to sit down at the table. As they waited for the desserts to be served, Yunxiao spoke to Jin Guan in an embarrassed tone while Guo Chen sat two blocks away on her right side at the right side of the long table.
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
Umm Lady Jin Guan I apologies.
Jin Guan
Yunxiao, why are you apologizing?
Yunxiao (Fourth Prince)
You must have been embarrassed because I left finished chicken bones and empty dishes on the table.
Narrator (Author)
Yunxiao's face appeared red in embarrassment as he said this, his head turned aside like a puppy. Jin Guan glanced at him, smiled at him, and said to him in an affectionate tone.

Aww! Yunxiao, you don't have to apologize or feel ashamed because you felt hungry and left a mess on the table. In fact, I think it was adorable that you ate the food entirely and yet you're still hungry, which makes you seem cute Yunxiao.

Yunxiao looks surprised at Jin Guan, and she says to Yunxiao in an affectionate tone.

Yunxiao glances at her, surprised, then smiles and says to her happily

Jin Guan smiled at him and caressed his hair as the desserts arrived. Jin Guan, Guo Chen, and Yunxiao ate as they finished desert. Yunxiao left to his room as the time was approaching twilight, and Jin Guan kissed his forehead, wanting him to enjoy his room. Jin Guan began walking with Guo Chen, and while they walked, they began to talk.
Guo Chen
You seem to have had a good time with Yunxiao.
Jin Guan
Yunxiao was adorable while he was eating, so yes, we had a good time together.
Guo Chen
Yes, and it was uncomfortable for me to sit there and see you two while you both talked and ate.
Jin Guan
But didn't you like the dessert and accompany?
Narrator (Author)
Guo Chen's ear was a little red as he said this, which Jin Guan didn't notice and continued to speak.
Guo Chen
Anyhow, the news of the fourth prince's adoption is now been informed. Kang Huan, I believe, will take action shortly.

A short while later, the scene changes to Jin Guan's room. It was sunset, and she was sitting in her chair at her makeup dresser desk with a
paper in her hand that was an invitation from
Kang Huan for dinner as a banquet at Hongmen
(a meal or gathering set up as a trap for the
invited guests). As she reads the invitation,
she has an almost cunning expression on her
face and speaks
carefree.

This vicious lady. What does she want to do to me? Let me see probably she will accuse me of
adopting a prince without
permission of the Emperor and
using a false edict.

in her room, begins to speak once she was finished.

as he talked in a stressed out tone.

The door opens to see Jin Guan standing there wearing a red dress and began to walk inside and Ze Kixin looked at Jin Guan as she walked inside the room as she looked calm but deep inside she was annoyed then she thought in her mind.
