Episode 3

I felt wronged! It was my first time stealing so how can he that I keep stealing his flowers. Short-tempered as I was I looked at him straight into the eyes and said

"it wasn't me!"

Damian pins me to the wall and with his big rough hands that held guns and grenades years ago held my chin gently and came closer.

"So this little rabbit knows how to bite too? Quite the cheeky little danger aren't you?"

I don't know why but I got flustered I could see my reflection on his eyes and my face was red as a cherry. I tried to push him back as he was so close that I could feel his breath but he didn't bulge even a little? Damian looked at me for a few seconds and then backed away himself. He held my hand and dragged me along with him.

"Follow me"

I had no choice but to follow he was strong and walked really fast. I was being dragged inside his house.

"where are you taking me?!"

His back from behind was so broad, for a brief moment I wondered how would it feel if he embraced me in his arms. We get inside his house and he finally stops and looks at me and utters

"it's time to compensate little rabbit"

Damian finally let's go of my hand and points at the dining table. There were several flower pots and packets of seeds?

"Help me plant those seeds and I will let you go back home"

It wasn't a very harsh punishment, rather it wasn't even a punishment. I looked at that man and I saw, softness in his eyes.

"Let me warn you beforehand, I'm not a skilled gardener neither I ever did Try gardening. "

"Well that won't be a problem you just have to dig a hold, put the seeds inside gently and fill the hole back again gently and give an adequate amount of water to the baby seed."

That's how easy it was when he described, but here I'm still struggling. Digging was a hard thing I even got myself dirty. There were eight flower pots in total and I completed planting two.....when I planted my second pot I saw that Damian had already completed the other pots, He is very fast...or maybe I'm too slow.

"You did a great job"

Damian complemented me but I think it was an empty complement because I did a horrible job, I took an hour to plant two pots, I messed up the table, I messed up my clothes and even my face I guess. Damian was smiling or more like holding in laughter.

"So, where do I put them now?" I pick up the flower pots ready to shift to the ordered place.

"You can take them home"

That caught me by surprise, was my work so bad that he is telling me to keep it with myself? He doesn't want them in his garden?

"Take them and take great care of them, beautiful flowers will bloom in your garden too, so you don't have to steal flowers from others"

That's embarrassing, I got caught in my first try! And now this statement hit me like a rock.

"I told you I didn't steal any flowers from you!"

"It's fine, from now on just tell me which flower you need, I will pluck it for you"

Damian was grinning to his ears, it was obvious that he was mocking me and my short height.

"Hey! I'm not short its just you are a giant!"

Damian broke into laughter. His smiling face was....captivating, he looked so adorable that it made me smile too.

"I will go back now"

"Why don't we have lunch together since you helped me so much today?"

Damian stood up and looked at me, I don't know why but I could feel that his eyes were asking me to stay, they were telling me not to leave, to stay here. What a lovely feeling.

"Are you a good cook because i can't digest stale food"

Damian smirked.

"that good? then i will stay"
