Before the new semester begins there had to be some changes in her life which she will tell herself

(or we will just peek into her life as we always do ).

It's been 6 months since I've been here eating all kinds of junk I've ever wished for and now realising that I've grown so much tummy makes me feel gross like ewwwww !!! Who the heck will like to have a girlfriend with this chubby tummy !!! Oh god !!! hell no !!! How the heck will you wear crop tops with this condition!! What about the sleek trumpet dress that you thought to buy for the party !!

She looked at her tummy and thought Wooaaahhhh you ain't a woman who'll screw up the future plans just because you love your comfort zone !!! Yup ! It's decided, we are dieting from tomorrow onwards so we gotta buy some groceries today ! Let's get started !

Meanwhile on the other side,

"Maa there is no broccoli in the fridge" he screamed from the kitchen to his mom who was watching TV. His mother replied from a distance, "Then go buy them from the grocery store" "Fine !!!" He rolled his eyes and went.

Getting his shoes on he went to the mart near his house which was unfortunately close today so he checked out the nearest one except this and went there by getting the basket he went straight to the veggies section where-

"Ouch"

"Ah so-"

Both of them bumped into each other and at the same time "You ?" "You ?"

"What a coincidence! Didn't expect to meet you here" he said to her. "Yeah..... Me too" she smiled awkwardly.

After a minute,

"uh, so.... what are you doing here..." he asked breaking the silence "ah..... I was going to have a nice dieting plan and workout routine so thought of buying some groceries" she replied in a soft low voice. "Workout ??? You're already looking good then what's the need of working out" he said confidently. "You're speaking as if you've seen me whole" she said, "Yeah not yet." he said in a low voice while looking at the rack beside them

What does he mean by not yet !?? Is he planning to see me ??? Na na na !!! Her face turned blank but it was obvious by looking at her red ears that she wanted him to see her again, he noticed her expression and kept observing that she took it otherwise still didn't say anything.

After a moment of awkward silence, he said "Since I'm also a diet planner by any chance if you need my help with something feel free to ask me."

"Um.... so.... can you give me advice about how I should keep my workout plan and diet plan systematically..." she asked for a silent help" He was happy inside but didn't want her to know so asked her normally "Aa... for that first I need to know which type of workout you are following, is it a full body or you gonna join the gym ?"

"It's a full body and that too at home." she answered. "Come with me."

Both of them shopped for groceries, he came to have broccoli but ended up having all the vegetables needed for a week because he didn't want to let her feel that she wasted his time so he instead pretended that he is here for shopping too.

He explained to her about the diet and answered every question without leaving any doubts because she was a woman who made sure to not have any confusion no matter if it's the matter of studies or any new habit.

"Is that....."

As they were discussing some protein intake, a voice came from behind and he turned towards it "Oh.... Aunty.... " He gave her a side hug and asked "How are you... aunty" to which the lady replied, "I'm fine, what are you doing here ?" "Oh I came here for some groceries" he replied, the lady noticed a girl beside him and asked in a teasing tone, "with your girlfriend I see, our young guy has become a man now hmm ^_^ ?" His ears turned red and he said, "It's not like what you think aunty" she couldn't help herself and blushed right away

"Your reaction says it all" she said laughingly but she understood that the girl was getting uncomfortable so she didn't say much, "alright alright, I'll leave you two here" and left. "Um.... Shall we continue?" taking a glance at her from the corner of her eyes he asked. "Yeah... yeah sure" she replied not looking at him.

"So we took the items having proteins and vitamins now I guess we -" "*grrrr* "Hungry?" he asked after listening to her stomach growling, "Yeah.." she said innocently gosh this is embarrassing she thought, to which he smiled. "Come with me this place has an instant food court area too" he said, "Mhm.... but the billing..." she spoke in a low voice, "The store is not closed yet so come with me, I'll handover the things to staff and after they generate the bill you can pay the money, they can wait but your tummy can't" he said confidently making her feel relieved. "Hmm.." she smiled silently.

After they entered inside the store

Woooaaahhhh!! I had an idea that metro cities have a variety of food options but this much, I didn't expect to have such a huge display board where there are so many items made from just simple noodles or fries, so in my city all I had was just a mere pizza with some vegetables? I never knew that you can even calculate your calories to prepare a meal that too in a busy area without Google! wwwoooaaaaooowwwww

While she was baffled to see such a huge menu on the display board he was busy observing her in a zoned out state, "Have you ever tried ?" she asked while looking at the display board "hm ?" he was still zoned out looking at her, "Since I'm new here, I don't want to waste my money on trying something new so I'd like to have something that you like and is worth giving a try." she said while turning her gaze towards him. He took a glance at the display board and asked, "Should we try Veggie delight?"

"The combo?" "Yeah since you are new to my city, it's my duty to make you taste some of the best combos."

"Aa.... alright!" "Wait there, I'll give them an order." after she agreed he went towards the counter.

She was confused and after a second she realised Did he just..... wait did he just give me a free treat ? Wait wait !!! I WAS GOING TO BE ON A DIET AND HE'S GIVING ME A TREAT OF INSTANT NOODLES woooaaaahhhhhh, how can you be such a fool ! but now it was too late.

He came back in less than a minute and said, "I gave them the order it'll be here in 5 minutes-" "Are you just going to give me a free treat ?" she spoke in the middle of his saying, "Yeah, I already said that earlier I guess" he said confidently, "Yeah I know, and it took me a moment to understand but.... why ?" she asked. "I told you right, that you are new to this city and I should treat you one of the-"

"Just why ?"

"Because I like you" he said, her ears turned red after listening to his sudden confession, "Eh ?"
