Emma narrating

Today Danilo comes home... I've missed him so much. I already arranged with Asher to leave work an hour early... He wasn't too thrilled, but I know he's just annoyed with Danilo.

I'll cook a special dinner for him... Gosh, I'm so excited!

Asher - That goofy grin, is it because of the moron?

Emma - It's because of Danilo... I don't know any morons other than you, haha.

Asher - Oh, Emma... If you weren't like a sister to me, I'd fire you on the spot, haha.

Emma - Haha, since when can you live without me?

Asher - Since forever, haha.

Emma - I know very well that you love me and can't live without me!

Asher - Such a poor, deluded Emma!

Emma - Then fire me!

Asher - Maybe I should, haha.

Emma - And why don't you?

Asher - Because you're the only family I have... I can't fire you, haha.

I sit next to him and give him a smile...

Emma - When will you forgive your parents? I know you miss them!

Asher - I don't know if I'll be capable of such a feat one day... But it's all good!

Emma - Asher... Asher!

Asher - You can go now... Go to your idiot boyfriend and leave your brother here!

Emma - Haha, cut the drama!

Asher - Just teasing, little one... Go have some fun!

Emma - Thanks... And be sensible!

Asher - I'm always sensible, haha!

I let out a laugh and head to the locker room... I change and swing by the market before going home.

Groceries bought... Now it's time to prepare a surprise for my love.

When I get home, I cook dinner and set the table... Everything is ready and I go take a shower. Then, I go to the bedroom and put on the blue dress that Danilo loves!

I dry my hair and apply some light makeup...

Ready and content... I head to the living room to wait for Danilo. Minutes later, the doorbell rings and I know it's him. I rise with a smile and eagerly open the door.

Danilo - Love!!

He wraps his arms around my waist and lifts me off the ground...

Emma - I've missed you so much!

Danilo - Me too... Wow, you look gorgeous!

He sets me down and kisses me passionately...

My heartbeat quickens... I've been craving this kiss!

He pins me against the wall as he lifts my dress... I try to close the door, but it's impossible with him kissing me like this...

Emma - Love... The door!

Without halting the kiss, he closes the door and presses against me again... He lifts me and I wrap my legs around his waist.

Emma - I've missed your warmth so much!

Danilo - Now I'm here, my love, and I will quench all this longing!

He carries me to the bedroom and tosses me onto the bed... In seconds, we're making love with intensity.

After a while, we collapse on the bed exhausted and I try to catch my breath...

Emma - I don't think I can stand being away from you much longer!

Danilo - We're almost there, love... it's not much longer now!

Emma - I know...

He caresses my face and gives me a peck...

Danilo - Very soon, we'll set our wedding date, and we won't need to be apart anymore... I checked our savings today, we're close.

Emma - Yeah... I check every day, haha.

Danilo - Oh really?

He tenses and tries to hide it...

Emma - Yeah... the anticipation, you know!

Danilo - I see... Let's eat, I'm starving!

Emma - Sure... I made your favorite dish!

He pecks me and gets up, dresses, takes his phone, and sits on the bed... I head to the shower, thinking he might join me... After a while, I finish and go back to the bedroom, but he's not there!

I put on something comfortable and go to the living room... He's eating and looking at his phone.

Emma - You couldn't wait for me?

Danilo - Sorry, babe... I was famished, I told you!

Emma - Couldn't you have waited?

Danilo - I'm sorry, come here!

He has me sit in his lap and kisses my neck... His phone pings, and he pauses.

Emma - Who's that?

Danilo - Work... I have to answer!

I stand up to plate my food... I sit at the table and he's still typing. I start eating and he's glued to his phone...

Emma - Seriously, Danilo?

Danilo - What now?

Emma - You're off work and still on the phone... You've been away for 15 days and when you come back, you barely look at me!
