After half an hour of silent drive the newly wed couple reached their house.
Jungkook looks up a little only to see a big black metallic gate and four big bulky guards standing outside holding guns.
He feels his fear again clicking in and shrinks more into himself.
Taehyung who was peeking at his wife continuously observed his reaction. He was angry, and most importantly confused.
What the hell has happened with his wife, which makes him so scared.
As the gate opens he drives the car inside and stops it in front of the mansion's door.
He first comes out and then opens the door for his wife to come out.
Jungkook with slow and nervous actions comes out but flinches as soon as he hears the car door getting closed.
Taehyung who tried to be soft with his action glares at the door and then his hand, internally cursing himself for making his wife scared.
This time there were also two guards standing outside the door. Jungkook just wanted to make himself invisible.

(he gives the car keys to one of the guards)
As soon as they stepped inside the mansion there were four maids and two male guards standing there bowing at them.....
Jungkook was startled at the sudden action.......

(he tightly shuts his eyes close) *Don't cry, don't cry*

Hmmm... (he nods at them and then starts walking forward)
Jungkook too follows him. Taehyung looks at his back only to see his little wife trying to match up with his pace. He scolds himself and slows down his pace.
He climbs up the stairs and still keeps his pace slow.
As soon as they reach near his room he opens the door and stands outside indicating his wife to go inside first.

(takes small steps and goes inside the room)
Taehyung too follows him inside and for the first time in the whole day, he sees his wife's face. He was astonished to see such a beautiful person.
Jungkook was looking at the room with wide eyes, and wait!!! There was something else too.... His cheeks were getting red.
Taehyung follows his stare just to see his room decorated with flowers and fragrant candles. The bed was also covered with rose petals.
He was feeling so fcking embarrassed and angry too. Here he was trying his best to not make his wife uncomfortable, while his family had other plans.

Please be comfortable, I will come in a while. (he says while stuttering in a cold tone and sprints out of the room)
Taehyung was mumbling continuous curses in his mind, first for talking coldly with his wife and then getting nervous over such things. It's so unlike him.
After a few minutes he goes inside his room only to find his beautiful wife standing on the balcony looking at the night sky.
He stands at a little distance not wanting to make his wife uncomfortable and speaks,

Wife. (the comes out more huskily because of the nervousness)
He was already killing himself multiple times in his mind for using such a cliché word.
But whatever at least it worked.
On listening to his husband's voice Jungkook's body becomes stiff, as if trying to compose himself, he turns around slowly and looks at his husband, And for the first time their eyes meet.
Taehyung's soul literally left his body, fcking hell how can someone be so fcking beautiful.
It's all so real yet so surreal at the same time.
As much as he wants to admire his wife's beauty his heart unknowingly broke into a million pieces on seeing his wife's red and scared eyes.
He blinks his eyes trying to compose himself and says-

You must be tired, take a bath, and your clothes are already kept in the closet. (he says in a soft voice really scared to scare his angel wife)
Kim Jungkook
You? (he says like a whisper, but Taehyung hears it)
As Taehyung was going to turn and go back he heard the most -softest voice. Oh, God!!! His wife's voice is so soft.

Uh... I will take a bath in another room, (He says without turning and grabs his clothes and towel from his big walk in closet which is now also filled with his wife's clothes. He never thought that sharing his closet with someone can make him feel so good and giddy)
Taehyung then walks out of the room, but he turns to take a peek at his wife who was looking so relaxed,
Is his presence making his wife so nervous and uncomfortable...?
After 30 minutes he goes inside the room only to find his beautiful wife sitting on the side of the bed looking down. He intentionally took more time than usual fighting with his mind whether to go inside or not.
He goes near his wife and leans down to take a pillow.
But his mere action caused his wife to flinch, Fck he forgot about it,
They were close but not that much yet, according to his wife's behavior, he was making him scared.
He picks up the pillow and stands up, stepping backwards making distance between them, and coughs a little to gain his wife's attention.

Sorry for scaring you Just wanted to take the pillow. You take the bed, I will take the couch.(he says in a soft voice)
Even though Taehyung was saying these things to Jungkook, his eyes were mostly on his hand, noticing the tight grip of his nails on his other hands back.
He very much wanted to tell his wife to stop hurting himself, but he stops himself to not make him more self-conscious.
Taehyung was going to leave on noticing that he is not getting any reply, but then his wife speaks up.

But... It's your room. You can sleep on the bed, (Jungkook's voice came out more in a forced tone as he digs his nails more into his palm)
Taehyung on noticing the red palm of his wife speaks up abruptly.

Our... (he takes a deep breath and continues) It's our room and don't worry I can take the couch, I don't want to make you more uncomfortable, please don't force yourself.
(the last part unintentionally came out more harsh than expected, he didn't want to but the feeling he felt after seeing his wife's red skin he lost the control on his tone)
He picks up his laptop bag from the Table, and opens a door, which Jungkook noticed for the first time. The room is connected to an open air pool. It also had Gym equipment. The mansion was especially designed according to everyone's needs and likings
Taehyung closes the sliding door behind him and sits on one of the pool chairs after keeping his laptop bag on the table beside it. Sighing to himself. He thought to take the couch in the room but the way Jungkook's nails were digging in his palm, he swears that it would have definitely bled, he was scared, so he just left the room to his wife.
He thought of working but has no interest in it now.
Taehyung leans down on the chair, placing the pillow behind his head the position was uncomfortable but better than the tension inside the room.
Kim Taehyung is known for his ruthlessness and cold aura, but here he was stuttering in front of his wife.
To be honest he didn't expect much from this marriage, after all it was just a deal, but it was all until he saw this angel, now HIS wife. All his thoughts flew out of the window, Jeon Jungkook NOW Kim Jungkook was everything Kim Taehyung can ever think of.
Never ever has he got the urge to protect something this much.
For the first time in his life he felt scared, scared of seeing blood. He cares for his family, he doesn't like seeing them hurt, but just by seeing his nails digging deeper in his skin makes him feel the pain.
Just by looking at the sh!tty acting of his so-called in-laws, he is sure that something is definitely wrong. Jungkook's behavior at the wedding and reception gave him hints and later on his mother's crocodile tears confirmed it.
He needs to find the reason behind it, Taehyung knows he fell for his wife, love can be a strong word to describe it but it was related to it, something in between.
He will do everything he can, to protect his wife.
