Chapter 5 - A Well

At that time I woke up in a strange place with a vintage atmosphere.

"Luckily you are aware!" said a guy

"Who are you, where am I?" ask Monica Lu confused

"Please introduce your name to me and your background!" ask a guy and a nurse

"Me, I'm Monica Lu, I'm a college student!" said Monica Lu

"It seems like she really lost her memory, and created a new identity or this is just a temporary memory loss?" said that guy to the nurse

"Okay Miss, then you rest first, we'll come back later!" said the guy then go out

After that a man came in and asked if I was okay with a pretty panicked face. That face is so familiar to me but I forgot whose face it was, I've seen it where.

"I'm fine, but who are you, and where is this?" ask Monica Lu confused

"I found you fell into a river near the park. You tried to commit suicide. Miss, I think this is quite dangerous!" said a guy

"What, so this is a hospital?" ask Monica Lu

"Yes, so you remember who your family is I will try to contact your family!" said that guy

After a moment of confusion, Monica Lu realized that she was trapped in the past with all her current conditions, she didn't know how to return to her original world.

She remembered that she fell into a well before coming here, that means she fell into the past.

"I don't remember who my family is, I also don't know where this is, and who are you?" ask Monica Lu

"Let me introduce myself, my name is Justin Ma!" introduce the guy

"Justin Ma, nice to meet you, I'm Monica Lu!" said Monica Lu introduce herself

Suddenly there was a knock on the door from outside, it turned out to be a nurse, Monica Lu allowed the nurse outside to come in.

"Thank God you're awake, I was really worried, the doctor said your memory was real?" ask the nurse suddenly

"Huh, who are you?" ask Monica Lu confused

"Gosh, Lauren, you must be joking, right? I'm Catherine Chu, your friend!" said Catherine Chu shocked

"Wait, I'm been called Lauren, so am I now Lauren Lu?" ask her inside herself

"I heard from Mr. Ma, you tried to kill yourself while on holiday here, did that bish hurt you?" ask Catherine Chu

"I don't remember anything, my head hurts a little!" said Monica Lu to Catherine Chu

"Miss, I think you are asking too many questions of a patient who has just realized that, she may be experiencing temporary memory loss?" said Justin Ma to Catherine Chu

"How come you know?" ask Catherine Chu

"I am a doctor too, although I am a psychologist but I know a little about this!" said Justin Ma

"Okay then, doctor, I'm going out first, see you later Lauren, I hope you'll end this joke when we meet later!" said Catherine Chu then close the door

Suddenly my head felt very painful, my breath is very short I didn't realize myself and at that time I seemed to faint and when I opened my eyes I was already back to my real world.

"Are you okay?" shouted a guy

"Huh, where is this, why am I here?" ask Monica Lu shocked

"This, what time is it now, why am I here, am I still in the hospital?" ask Monica Lu shocked

"You just fell into the water and I just did a quick little check on you, it looks like you're fine, your leg is only slightly injured!" said the guy

"Thank you very much, I'm sorry you're getting wet because of me!" said Monica Lu to the guy

"But this is a closed place, how can you tell there are people who need help here?" ask Monica Lu to the guy

"I haven't been through here a few times, and usually the fence here is locked, but today it was open and there was a light behind me so I went to check to see if there was a thief!" said the guy

"So he think I'm a thief in my own mansion?" said Monica Lu inside herself

"Anyways thank you very much, my name is Monica Lu i'm a law student!" said Monica Lu to the guy

"My name is Nikolas Li, and I am a medical student!" said the guy named Nikolas Li

"You can't drive this car yourself since your leg is injured, so I'll just take you home, your home address?" ask Nikolas to Monica

"Thank you very much, but what you said until now It's just sarcasm!" said Monica Lu to Nikolas Li

"Sarcasm, miss, I think you're going too far. I'm kind enough to want to help. You're still saying this!" said Nikolas Li to Monica Lu while get up and went out

At that time, Monica Lu was rode to her house, and when she got home everyone was waiting for her with shocked and panicked expression, especially her grandmother because she had been gone for almost an hour.

"Monica, where have you been, why are your clothes soaking wet?" shouted Madelyn Lu while sobbing

"I thought you were kidnapped, because you left without a message and your cellphone is on the table!" said Carol Tang

"I'm sorry you guys worried me, I just accidentally fell!" said Monica Lu to her family

"Actually she fell into the well, at that time I passed by and I found someone who was unconscious inside, I helped her then took her into the mansion and warmed her body using fireplace!" said Nikolas Li while walk toward Monica Lu

"Why are you still here?" ask Monica Lu shocked

"Miss, just so you know I came here to meet your brother, and when I arrived they were all worried about you especially since it was already late and you're gone missing!" said Nikolas Li to Monica Lu

"As a good and considerate friend of course I helped your brother and went to the location you might go after seeing all the Tang family exhibitions!" said Nikolas Li to Monica Lu

"It's a good thing there's someone as good as you, Nikolas, otherwise from the start I think our Monica would be in danger!" said Julia Chu

"It's fine grandma, in the past Oliver often helped me when I ran away from home, but now it doesn't seem like a big thing to help him find his little sister!" said Nikolas Li to Julia Chu
