Chapter 1 - Summer Holiday

"Monica Lu, come quickly, Brother is waiting for us at the front!" shouted Madelyn Lu

"Yeah, just a moment, I'll lift the suitcase first!" shouted back a girl named Monica Lu

My name is Monica Lu, I am only 19 years old, next week I will be 20 years old, I can't wait for my birthday next Wednesday, but today I will go on holiday to my grandmother's house.

But lately I keep dreaming something strange, like a memory on the stairs of a large and luxurious house where there was a man under the stairs and we were fighting.

I don't know how long this has been happening but it seems like it's been almost two weeks, maybe it will be gone tomorrow.

"Don't let her know that tonight we will throw a birthday party for her!" whispered Madelyn Lu to Oliver Lu their older brother

After that Monica Lu got into the car and then sat in it comfortably.

"Oh yes, after this, let's go for a walk in city Z, with our cousin!" said Madelyn Lu

"Alright!" said Monica Lu with a smile

After several hours they finally arrived there and were warmly welcomed by Julia Chu

"Luckily you all arrived safely, grandma has been waiting here for a long time for you all!" said Julia Chu

"Ah, you've all come, come on in, it's so hot in here!" said Kate Fang with a face full of smile

It was the first time in 5 years that I saw my grandma and aunt's face, I can't believe that five years is a long time ago already.

"Grandma, aunt, long time no see!" shouted Madelyn Lu to them

"Madelyn, Monica, long time no see!" shouted Carol Tang

"Carol, so have you planned our walking route today yet?" said Madelyn Lu while pinched Carol's cheek

"Of course, starting from the old town, all the way to the amusement park!" said Carol Lu pinched Madelyn Lu's face back

"Monica, you're already this big, five years without seeing each other feels really fast," said Kate Fang with a smile then brought Monica in

I couldn't believe they were this warm towards me, but when I glanced at grandma's face she didn't seem to really like Aunt Kate.

"Monica, brother, wait here, after this we all go for a walk with Remon!" said Oliver Lu to Monica Lu

"Yes, I'll get ready right away!" said Monica Lu then walk inside the house

Grandma's house is so big I haven't been there for 5 years, it's changed so much, I also want to explore this house after i got back.

"Don't you guys want to rest first, and then go out, you all must be really tired coming all this way!" ask Julia Chu to them

"Mother, have you forgotten?" said Carol Tang while glancing lyrically at Monica who was applying sunscreen at her hand.

"Oh yeah, then have fun!" said Kate Fang then walk inside

"Okay, so first where do we want to go?" ask Monica Lu

"I deliberately waited for the three of you to come and I will take you to the old city of Z, there is a famous fortune teller, it said he can predict your past and future!" said Carol Tang while snacking

"I don't know anything, I just followed what this little kid told me!" said Remon Tang while driving

When they arrived they got off, and they walked first to the market in the city.

"I think I want to buy this for Jessica and Stephanie, they look cute!" said Monica Lu to Madelyn Lu

"Yeah, it looks like they will be very happy later!" Madelyn Lu said then walked to the shop next door

"I want to buy this, how much does it cost?" ask Monica Lu to the seller

"Hey, don't forget to give me something nice that can be decorated in the living room tonight!" said Carol Tang to Remon Tang and Oliver Lu

After that, they finally entered the fortune teller's shop which was said to be famous.

"Here it is, I thought it would be good, but it turned out not to be what I imagined!" said Carol Tang to them

"You guys just guess, I'll wait for you out here!" said Monica Lu to them

"The thing is, I want to go eat the traditional ice cream that looks tempting there!" said Monica Lu then walk away

After that they all walked into the shop and left Monica Lu alone, when the atmosphere was very tense, they were asked to sit down by the waiter there.

"Welcome, let me introduce myself as a fortune teller who can predict the future of the four of you!" said the fortune teller

"As an opening, I know that five of you actually came but the other one went because he wanted to try the ice cream here, is that true?" ask the fortune teller

"Cool, really great, it deserves to have a name!" said Madelyn Lu shocked

"Okay, I will predict you one by one, starting from the past and the future!" said the fortune teller

On the other hand, Monica Lu was seen tasting ice cream there while talking to her friend on the phone.

"Why don't you want to come in, even though it's fun to know your past and your future!" said one of Monica Lu freind

"Ah, let the past pass, and let the future be a secret!" said Monica Lu while eating the ice cream

Suddenly a guy came over to Monica Lu who was eating her ice cream.

"Hi miss, are you min-1?" ask a guy out of nowhere with a smile

"I'll hang up the phone first, I'll continue later!" said Monica Lu then hang up the phone

"Eh, why?" ask Monica Lu

"Can I sit with you, because if I sit alone I'll feel lonely, do you mind?" ask the guy
