Episode 10
Shanaya was sitting in the lounge, scrolling through her phone. She was bored of sitting at home and doing nothing. She huffed and stood up from the chair and walked inside the mansion.
Reema bi was busy supervising the servants of their work just then her phone rang. She checked the caller id flashing Rejeev's name so she picked it and after listening to him she spoke.
Remma (Fl caretaker)
"Yes sir, I will let someone deliver it to you" and after that she cut the call.
She went to the study room and picked up the files Rajeev asked for.
Remma (Fl caretaker)
"Eva" Reema bi called out to one of the maids, and she came out of the kitchen.
Eva is the new maid and just joined a few days ago.
Remma (Fl caretaker)
"Sir needs these important documents urgently. Call Harsh to deliver them" Reema bi said.
Eva ( Fl maid )
"Reema bi Harsh is on leave and no one is available for now," Eva told her.
Harsh is one of the trusted staff in the mansion.
Remma (Fl caretaker)
"Oh no, sir asked me to deliver this file urgently," Reema bi said, panicking.
Shanaya was standing near the staircase and was listening to them.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"Don't worry reema bi, I will deliver to dad" shanaya said, coming to her side.
Remma (Fl caretaker)
"No baby, you are not fine. I will have someone to do the work" Reema bi denied but Shanaya insists on going.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"Don't worry, I will give this to dad. I am feeling bored staying home. Let me go, please" Shanaya pleaded with her puppy eyes and Reema bi agreed somehow.
Rajeev was discussing the plot with Avyaansh while both of their assistants were sitting in their respective places. Rajeev was pointing in the display as he was explaining just then Shanaya entered her father's cabin.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"Dad" her voice resonated in the room and she walked toward her father.
Avyaansh's head snapped in the direction of the source while Rajeev smiled at his daughter.
Rajeev Singhania (Fl father)
"Princess, you are here?" Rajeev was surprised to see his daughter.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"I came to deliver these files to you" she answered, forwarding the files to Rajeev.
Rajeev Singhania (Fl father)
"Harsh would have delivered it. Why did you come by yourself?" Rajeev said, taking the files from her hand.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"I was getting bored at home so I thought about coming here," she replied, biting her lips and smiling at her father.
Avyaansh was gawking at her, forgetting about the surroundings and the presence of Rajeev. He was listening to the father and daughter duo and raised his left eyebrow at her word bored.
Rajeev Singhania (Fl father)
"Wait in the meeting room. I will be done super soon then we will go to have lunch together okay?" He stroked her head and she nodded and turned to go.
Avyaansh was irked, how didn't she notice him? He scrunched the bridge of his nose when an idea popped into his mind. He glanced at the paperweight he was playing while listening to them.
He smirked inwardly and threw the paperweight in her way without coming to anyone's notice. On the other hand, Shanaya, who was busy keeping her phone in her bag didn't notice the jumble in her way and stepped on it, tripping her ankle.
She was about to hit the floor when Avyaansh stood and in a swift move, he grabbed her arm and pulled her on his chest. The action made her fall in his arms while he wounded his arms around her waist.
Shanaya shrieked in horror and immediately grabbed his shoulder. Avyaansh was amused seeing her scared face. How she was squeezing her closed eyes and her grip tightened on his shoulder. Rajeev stood up from his seat in horror but was relieved that his daughter was safe.
Slowly she opened her eyes when she didn't feel any pain only to collide with the blue orbs staring down at her. Without bothering about the surroundings she stared back at him without even blinking.

"Are you alright?" When Avyaansh asked that's when she came out of her trance and replied.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"Yes, I am fine" realizing her surroundings she immediately pulled back from him tucking her hair strands behind her ear.
That time something occurred to her and she furrowed her brows, that perfume. She knows this perfume smell but how? This was running in her mind.
Rajeev Singhania (Fl father)
"Are you okay?" Rajeev asked, clearing his throat.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"Yes, Dad. I Will wait for you in the meeting room" Shanaya said and strolled out of the cabin
Avyaansh smirked looking at her retreating back and turned towards Rajeev.
Rajeev Singhania (Fl father)
"Thank you, Mr Malhotra," Rajeev said, taking his seat back.
Avyaansh Malhotra (Ml)
"For what? Mr Singhania" Avyaansh deliberately asked, stressing on the word 'What'.
Rajeev Singhania (Fl father)
"For saving my daughter just now" Rajeev admitted without sensing the evil intentions laced behind.
Avyaansh Malhotra (Ml)
"In that case, I would have to say that you will be thanking me more often in the future," Avyaansh said and took his seat in front of him.
Rajeev furrowed his brow but didn't give much thought about it and continued the meeting.
It's been an hour since she was waiting in the meeting room. Having nothing to do she started scrolling through her phone when a message popped up.
"I don't think I can make it up, you should go home. The driver is waiting for you outside the office. Sorry for keeping you waiting princess" .
She whined reading the message and picked up her bag and walked out of the meeting room.
Rajeev was caught with the work, so he sent a message to his daughter to go home as he had another meeting after this.
Avyaansh Malhotra (Ml)
"Congratulations on our deal Mr Singhania. Happy cooperation. I would like to take my leave but before that, I would like to invite you to our launching party next week. I hope you won't disappoint me, and please come with your family" Avyaansh said, standing up and fixing his coat.
Rajeev Singhania (Fl father)
"I will surely come. My secretary will walk you out" Rajeev said after shaking hands with him.
Avyaansh Malhotra (Ml)
"There's no need for formality. I will walk by myself. Thank you" saying this as he walked out of his cabin.
Tarun (Ml Assistant)
"Get the car ready" Tarun spoke in his Bluetooth while walking beside his boss.
On his way, he saw her standing near the staircase. Upon reaching there he saw a few workers were trying to move the desk to the upper floor, but it was stuck in the staircase and Shanaya was waiting for it to be over quickly. He gestured Tarun to leave first, and he followed his boss' command and left from there.

"You can use the elevator with me" Avyaansh spoke from behind her leaning closer to her ear level, making her startled.
She turned to him abruptly, almost brushing her hair all over his face abruptly. She stared at him with her furrowed brows. He smirked and stood in front of her.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"Thank you, but I would choose to wait" she replied not in a polite way and turned to the other side.
She rolled her eyes and looked away. She's not someone to become friendly with others at first meet. And something about his smirk didn't sit well with her.
Avyaansh Malhotra (Ml)
"How rude of you? Is that your way to thank someone for helping you?" He taunted her standing beside her, sliding his both hands inside his pocket.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
She rolled her eyes and turned to him before saying "Thanks for today," she looked straight into his eyes.
Avyaansh Malhotra (Ml)
"Only for today. What about the other night in that storeroom?" When he said she went wide-eyed.
Before that, she just had a feeling that she knew this perfume smell, but now she was sure that he was the one who saved her that night.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
"That... That was you?" Her voice shuttered, and her question earned a chuckle from him.
Avyaansh Malhotra (Ml)
"You are afraid of your phobia, right?" He asked which she stared at him confused.

"It's a guess" and smirked only for her eyes to widen in surprise.
He leaned closer to her, and she abruptly took back steps. His 6ft tall frame was towering over her small body.

"Be careful" saying that he walked inside the elevator and the elevator door closed with him smirking at her.
Shanaya Singhania (Fl)
She left puzzled behind "what's with him?" She shook her head.
Avyaansh was sitting in his car and after some time he saw Shanaya walking out of the building. It took almost half an hour for her to come out by the stairs. Avyaansh's predatory gaze followed her walking towards her awaiting car. Her bodyguard opened the car's door for her, and she slid into the backseat of the car.

"Shanaya," her name rolled out of his mouth ever so smoothly and he chuckled recalling her sassy reply. "You want to play hard to get, that would be interesting to play with you" he smirked looking at her car driving away.

"Drive to the office" Avyaansh ordered his driver and leaned on the back seat. The driver nodded and drove towards the Malhotra empire.
